Lion’s Mane is a powerhouse nootropic mushroom that studies have shown packs some serious health benefits including things like

* Protecting against dementia.
* Relieving mild depression and anxiety.
* Speeding up nervous system injury recovery.
* Protecting against ulcers.
* Reducing heart disease risk.
* Helping manage diabetes symptoms.
* May help fight cancer.
* Reducing inflammation.

That seems unreal, how can a single mushroom be doing so much at once? Well it really boils down to some pretty incredible properties this mushroom contains. Studies have found that lion’s mane mushrooms contain two special compounds that can stimulate the growth of brain cells, help regenerate damaged brain cells, and improve the functioning of the hippocampus: hericenones and erinacines.
Additionally, studies have found that lion’s mane may help protect against Alzheimer’s disease, a degenerative brain disease that causes progressive memory loss.
In fact, lion’s mane mushroom and its extracts have been shown to reduce symptoms of memory loss in mice, as well as prevent neuronal damage caused by amyloid-beta plaques, which accumulate in the brain during Alzheimer’s disease.
A 2020 study of people with mild Alzheimer’s disease found that supplementation with 1 gram of lion’s mane mushroom daily for 49 weeks significantly improved cognitive test scores compared with a placebo.
The ability of lion’s mane mushroom to promote nerve growth and protect the brain from Alzheimer’s-related damage may explain some of its beneficial effects on brain health.

In short, Lion’s Mane is a total powerhouse when it comes to nervous system health and overall body health and may make an excellent supplemental addition to your diet whether as a preventative measure or a recovery treatment.

Inonotus obliquus, commonly called chaga, is a fungus in the family Hymenochaetaceae. It is parasitic on birch and other trees. The sterile conk is irregularly formed and resembles burnt charcoal. It is not the fruiting body of the fungus, but a sclerotium or mass of mycelium, mostly black because of a great amount of melanin.

A single teaspoon Chaga mushroom has as much antioxidants as 600 blueberries! Chaga also has massive levels of important nutrients like Magnesium, Calcium, Iron, Manganese, Potassium, Zinc, and more. Studies have shown that as much as 75% of the US has some degree of Magnesium deficiency, a daily supplement of Chaga could be a valued addition to your body and mind!

Chaga’s wealth of minerals can help fight inflammation, help lower blood sugar and cholesterol, and some studies even show evidence of Chaga aiding in slowing the growth of cancer cells.
