Did you know your health before pregnancy can affect your baby's future health?

Taking care of your body and mind before pregnancy plays an important role in giving your baby a healthy start. Connecting with a healthcare provider, learning about your health history, and building healthy habits can help support a smoother pregnancy and positive outcomes. Focusing on balanced nutrition, regular check-ups, and emotional well-being can make a meaningful difference. Mental health matters too, managing stress and having support can benefit both parent and baby. Preparing early builds a strong foundation for lifelong health.

Why See a CDCES?

Managing diabetes can feel like a full-time job without a manual. That's where a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist comes in!
While your doctors handles your prescriptions, a CDCES is your personal coach fro the "everyday" part of the journey. Research shows that working with a CDCES can lower A1c levels, reduce the risk of complications, and - most importantly - lower the stress of daily management. At Fresno American Indian Health Project, we focus on strategies that honor your lifestyle and heritage. You don't have to navigate this alone. Let's work together to make your health goals a reality.

Update:
The young person has been found and has made their way home safely. We are deeply grateful to everyone who shared, prayed, and took action to help bring him home.
Best Practice After Recovery
Once a missing person is located, all photos, flyers, and posts should be removed or covered across social media and other platforms. This protects the young person’s privacy, dignity, and safety, and helps prevent further harm or unwanted attention.
Please help by deleting or hiding any images or posts you shared.
Thank you for your prayers for his safe return. Every share, every prayer, and every moment of care truly helps bring our people home.
