Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and recognize the incredible women who lead, serve, and strengthen our communities every day.

At Island Air Ambulance, we are especially proud to celebrate our Founder, President, and Director of Operations, Jackie Hamilton. Jackie’s vision, determination, and leadership built Island Air Ambulance into the mission-driven service it is today. Her commitment to our island communities and to the teams who serve them continues to inspire us every day.

Jackie exemplifies what it means to lead with courage, compassion, and purpose. Through her work, she has opened doors and set an example for women in aviation, emergency medicine, and leadership everywhere.

Today we honor Jackie and all the women who dedicate their lives to caring for others and making our communities stronger.

Happy Groundhog Day! While Phil may have seen his shadow, there’s no slowing down for us through the remainder of the Pacific Northwest winter. We’re upgrading our fleet with state-of-the-art Hamilton T1 ventilators, and our teams continue to sharpen their critical care skills to deliver the highest level of care to our island communities.
