Our birth team last night into the morning and it was a beautiful home birth! The parents wrote us a cute welcome sign with a bible verse. I’m so grateful for wonderful friends to do this with and an amazing preceptor who I love learning from! Shout out to Heather and Miranda! ❤️

Hi! I’m Soo-Lin, nice to meet you! After growing up in Minnesota and doing ministry work in San Francisco, I met the love of my life. We now reside in MN with our three boys and our Doberman Luna. As an apprentice midwife at Seasons Midwifery, I’ve learned a great deal in a short time. My aspiration is to have my own practice, help families, and show love to everyone I meet. I ended my 1st module in my midwifery program on a beautiful note. Was finally able to meet my cohort in person and they are all absolutely beautiful women. I’m so glad I’m not doing this alone even though it can feel that way when you live miles away from everyone. Overall, this trip to TX made it all worth it - all the hard work from the past months have been completed. Now I’m onto the next module 😅

I haven’t announced this publicly yet but I was accepted into a midwifery program and I’m so excited to start! I have amazing people in my life that I will be learning from. God is so so so good!

For those that do not know yet, I’m expecting my 3rd little boy next month! I feel so blessed to have taken many classes last year for my doula business. It has definitely prepared me for my next home birth. My friend, Heather Dorney is my midwife again and I’m excited to have her by my side along with the support of my husband… whom happens to be an amazing doula husband. I’m hoping to video record some of my home birth to remember it and encourage other parents that birthing at home can be a beautiful thing.
