☀️ Your skin remembers every sunny day AND every cloudy day, so make UV protection part of your daily wellness routine.

Healthy skin isn’t just about what you put on it, it’s also about how you protect it. UV exposure is one of the leading causes of premature aging, hyperpigmentation, and skin damage, while also increasing the risk of skin cancer.

Together, Dr. Tregellas and Sabrina Taylor both believe true wellness starts from the inside out. Caring for your skin is an act of self-care that many people let fall to the wayside as life gets in the way. Daily sun protection is one of the simplest ways to invest in your long-term health by protecting the first line of defense on the environment around you: your skin! Since July is UV Safety Awareness month, we wanted to share some tips for UV protection.

✨ UV Safety Tips:

• Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ (at minimum) every day, even when it’s cloudy
• Reapply every 80 to 90 minutes when outdoors
• Wear a wide-brim hat and UV-protective sunglasses & clothing when needed (think gardening, working out, yard work, etc.)
• Seek shade as often as possible during peak sun hours (10 AM - 4 PM)
• Stay hydrated and nourish your skin from within
