Happy 251st Birthday to the United States Navy!
Today, October 13, The Invicta Project proudly celebrates 251 years of courage, service, and sacrifice by the men and women of the United States Navy.
Since its founding in 1775, the U.S. Navy has defended our nation, protected our freedoms, and demonstrated an unwavering commitment to duty, honor, and country.
At The Invicta Project, we are honored to support the brave men and women who have served in our Armed Forces. Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to Navy veterans, active-duty sailors, and their families for their dedication and sacrifice.

We would like to honor three individuals who recently completed their treatment at Parker Performance Institute, with their care funded by The INVICTA Project.

John Nastav served in the U.S. Marine Corps and is a Vietnam War veteran. Now 80 years old, John spent more than 40 years working as a pipe fitter and welder with Chicago Local 597, from 1969 to 2010.

Victor Miller served 21 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. After graduating from Astoria High School in 1990, he joined the Marines in 1991 as a machine gunner and attended Recon School in 1993. His service included two combat tours.

Douglas Gould served in law enforcement for 11 years as a police officer in East Los Angeles. During his career, he worked with gang and narcotics units, SED, and SWAT. With more than 50 years of fi****ms experience, Douglas continues to teach fi****ms use today.

Through this partnership, The Invicta Project provides funding to help veterans and first responders access specialized care, while Parker Performance Institute provides the treatment focused on restoring function and improving quality of life.
It’s about more than treatment. It’s about supporting those who have spent their lives serving others.

We’re honored to have played a role in John, Victor, and Douglas’s journeys and proud to stand together in support of our veterans and first responders.

The post-9/11 combat veterans supported through Warriors & Quiet Waters Foundation Montana 'Built for More' program went to war in the years after that day. Some went immediately.
They answered when the nation needed them most. Now they are rediscovering purpose, rebuilding connection, and returning to their communities as unifying forces.

The INVICTA Project was created to support military veterans and first responders experiencing the often-invisible effects of traumatic brain injury and post-concussion symptoms.
Through The INVICTA Project, these heroes are provided access to innovative, individualized care designed to help address challenges such as brain fog, headaches, memory issues, physical pain, sleep problems, and other symptoms that can affect everyday life.
Most importantly, the goal is simple: help those who have sacrificed so much for others regain their health, well-being, and quality of life—at no cost to them.
