The history usually goes something like this: She tells her primary care clinician she cannot sleep. Cardiology documents palpitations. Orthopedics records joint pain. Her therapist or primary care clinician identifies new anxiety. She reports brain fog. Urology documents urinary symptoms or painful s*x. Gynecology may document hot flashes!

After all of that, she still is not diagnosed with menopause and continues to go untreated.

This does not have to be you!! Do your research and find a provider that will listen!!

Let’s talk about what expectations and perceptions you have had about menopause…….

I always had this impression in early adulthood that life goes “downhill” once menopause took place. Well, obviously, I don’t think that anymore but that seed was planted in my head at some point in my life.

The reality is that we get to decide what menopause looks like and how we live it! So go live it well!! 💜
