Trainer Cassie is here with your reminder that the 1-Arm Row is more than just yanking a dumbbell from point A to point B. 😏
💡 Cassie’s Top Cues for Stronger Rows:
✅ Set your base first
Think: stable body = stronger pull. Plant your feet, brace your core, and own the position.
✅ Pull your elbow to your hip
Don’t just pull with your hand. Drive the elbow back and down to get that lat firing. 🔥
✅ Keep your shoulders away from your ears
If your traps are taking over, reset and think “long neck.”
✅ Pause and squeeze
At the top, hold for a split second and feel your back do the work. The dumbbell isn’t the goal—the muscle is.
✅ Control the way down
The lowering phase is where a lot of gains live. Don’t rush it. Earn every rep.
🎯 Tomorrow’s challenge: Before your set, pick ONE cue and focus on it for every rep. Sometimes the biggest PRs come from better ex*****on, not just more weight.
