Sharing again in case someone needs it.
We finally invested in our own carpet cleaner because it is no longer budget friendly for us to get our carpets professionally cleaned for nine areas.
Instead of using chemicals we opted for natural ingredients: unscented castile soap, 3% hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda.
Our household paid Mrs. B's for the ingredients.
To avoid creating excess bubbles in the take, make sure to dilute the baking soda in the hot water then added it to the tank FIRST.
Then add the castile soap and hydrogen peroxide.
Cap the tank then give it a good shake to mix before mounting the solution tank.
Ours has a gallon capacity.
We were amazed with our results and how quickly it dried compared to when we used to pay professionals.
We also weren't breathing in unnecessary and potentially harmful chemicals.
That's important for us for our six year old son who is a heart warrior and our fur baby.
We chose natural ingredients that will clean, deodorize, disinfect and kill bacteria after our recent battle with upper respiratory infection followed by seasonal allergy symptoms.
Our furnace filter has been changed too.
Our home is cleaner and a lot fresher.
Our sinuses have settled and we can rest assured that our home is a little less toxic.
I'm including some inspiration to the mixtures we used for our house.
