Our IL residents enjoyed a lovely day trip to Buckeye Lake with perfect weather and peaceful surroundings 🌅✨.

They reminisced about their past adventures of fishing and water skiing on the lake. They shared stories, relaxed, saw a bald eagle, and creating new wonderful memories.

After exploring the lake, we dined at Papa Boo’s for a delicious meal, making it a truly relaxing and special day. Moments like these build connections and celebrate life’s simple pleasures. What a special day where residents really got to enjoy the weather and the company.

Dreams come true with Trilogy! ❤️🏁

For National Dreams Are Possible Day, Taylor Springs had the absolute honor to grant one of our residents a dream that meant a lot to him…. a ride in a corvette!

Bill used to work on cars and absolutely loves them, so we wanted to do something in honor of that! So we rented a corvette for the day and Bill got to whip around it in! It was an absolute surprise for him, and he was really excited to hear the news (as you can see in the third photo).

The staff walked him out on the red carpet, and cheered him on as he left! And as a part 2, our campus had a car show happy hour. Vintage cars, grilling out and making sliders, and the beautiful weather all made for such a special day for everyone. 🏁❤️

A Magical Night At The Oscars! ❤️🏆 To kick off CSS here at Taylor Springs, we hosted our own IL Night At The Oscars!

With red and gold decorations, a beautiful meal, and awards for every resident, it was such a special night. Each resident received a personalized award that catered to them and different memories we have made while they’ve been here.

We had a delicious meal made by our DFS, a delicious salmon with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes! And we had a delicious mix of appetizer and some beautiful desserts. And our department leaders helped served the residents their lovely meal!

The resident even got to walk the red carpet! It was such a special night and the residents raved about it for days after!

Another Live-A-Dream granted! Mark, an IL resident and zoology enthusiast, got to experience The Wilds 🦒🌿
At The Wilds, he enjoyed a delicious meal, a safari bus tour highlighting endangered animals, and saw the animals during feeding time.
Mark studied Zoology in school so he has always had a passion and love for animals, and The Wilds was the perfect place for him. He got to remember the things he learned in school, and he got to learn new things!
He loved seeing the Rhinos and even had made a new ostrich friend (he tried to eat Mark’s shirt) The day ended with a stunning sunset making it truly unforgettable. Mark expressed that he had a great time, so thank you Mark for letting us walk alongside this passion with you!
