RSV stands for Respiratory syncytial virus. It’s a common 🦠 that can impact the lungs 🫁, nose 👃, throat, and respiratory tract.
Infants and older folks are the most at risk for a severe case.
Pregnant people can get an immunization to protect their baby. Infants can also be vaccinated. We are happy to help our clients understand the options.
RSV season will peak in December/January.
RSV can be hard to diagnose. It’s best to call your pediatrician if something feels off or feel more than a cold or cough. 😷
