I am just a lung transplant doctor at University of Florida. I am part of a team. The donor is the real hero. Words cannot describe how I felt when I was given this gift this week. The Fuentes celebrated Jessie’s lung transplant by making this beautiful piece of art. 50,000 stitches! The beautiful frame with museum grade glass was also donated by a family member whose niece had a transplant at UF. (I can’t post their name because I don’t have a consent but they can comment so I can give you credit!!). I am so happy that you are doing so well and I am speechless at the appreciation!
