“Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

One of the most beautiful truths about God is that He doesn’t make us live off yesterday’s mercy.

Every sunrise is a reminder that His grace has been renewed. No matter what happened last week, or even yesterday, God isn’t keeping score of your failures. He’s offering fresh mercy, fresh strength, and a fresh opportunity to walk with Him.

The enemy wants you to believe you’ve gone too far, failed too many times, or that you’ll never change. But God’s Word says His mercies never come to an end. They aren’t earned, and they aren’t exhausted. They flow from His faithful character.

That doesn’t mean we continue living in sin because grace is available. It means that when we repent and turn back to Him, we don’t have to stay trapped in shame. We can get up, trust His forgiveness, and keep walking forward in obedience.

Whatever you’re carrying today… guilt, fear, disappointment, exhaustion, or uncertainty… leave it at the feet of Jesus. Don’t waste today’s mercy by dwelling on yesterday’s mistakes.

His mercy is new this morning.

His grace is sufficient for today.

And His faithfulness has never failed.

“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” 📖James 2:17🕊️

Just before verse 17, James gives an example:

If someone is hungry and lacking clothes, and a believer says, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing to help them, what good is that?

The words sound caring, but they don’t actually meet the need.

He’s addressing people who claim to have faith but whose lives show no evidence of it. Faith can be the same way. A person can talk about believing in God, quote Scripture, attend church, and know all the right answers. But if that faith never affects how they live, love, forgive, give, or obey, then it’s not functioning as living faith.

It also gives Christianity a bad rap when people claim to believe in God but bear no fruit. (This is a whole topic in itself.)

This verse is not to create guilt, but to encourage growth.

The beauty is that it’s not calling believers to perform for God. It’s calling them to a faith so alive that it naturally spills over into action.

Okay, so I still have a little PTSD from the amount of Cheeseburger Tacos I made last time (most orders I’ve EVER had for a single meal) 😂🌮, so I’ve improvised for the better!

Instead of 3 smaller tacos, you’ll now get 2 larger tacos. That means less work for me and more bang for your buck for you! 🙌🏻

Same delicious flavor, just bigger tacos and a happier meal prep lady. 😅💕

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” 📖Isaiah 40:29🕊️

Some weeks leave us exhausted—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Relying purely on self sufficiency will eventually lead to burnout. God never asks us to carry life’s burdens in our own strength. When we feel drained, overwhelmed, or like we have nothing left to give, He meets us right there. His strength is not reserved for the strong; it’s given to those who know they need Him.

I love the verses right after this that say:

30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

“They will soar on wings like eagles.” Eagles don’t constantly flap to stay flying; they ride the wind currents. In a similar way, God enables His people to move forward by His strength rather than exhausting themselves trying to do everything alone. God never promises that His people won’t become weary. He promises that weariness doesn’t have to have the final word.

Whatever this week holds, remember that you don’t have to rely on your own power. The Lord sees your weariness, knows your struggles, and promises to supply the strength you need for today.

Our words carry power. The things we say in moments of anger, frustration, gossip, or pride can create wounds that last far longer than we intended. This verse is a reminder that wisdom isn’t just about what we know — it’s also about what we choose not to say.

Guarding your mouth means slowing down before reacting. It means speaking with kindness, truth, and self-control, even when emotions are high. When we allow God to guide our words, we protect our peace, relationships, and hearts from unnecessary trouble.

Not every thought needs to be spoken. Sometimes strength looks like silence, patience, and choosing words that bring life instead of destruction. Ask God to help your speech reflect Him this week — full of grace, wisdom, and love.

We often think we need a huge platform, a packed church, or the perfect words for God to move. But Jesus reminds us that His presence isn’t measured by numbers — it’s promised wherever people gather in His name.

God shows up in the small, ordinary moments of faithfulness. You don’t have to do this life alone. There is power, encouragement, healing, and strength when believers come together and invite Him in.

There’s something powerful about not carrying life alone. God designed us to encourage one another, pray for one another, and remind each other who He is when life feels heavy.

This week, don’t isolate yourself. Reach out. Pray with someone. Worship with someone. Encourage someone. Jesus promised He would be there too. 🕊️💛
