Meet Priya Varghese, MD!
Today, Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville, P.C. is excited to officially welcome Dr. Priya Varghese to our
physician team.
Dr. Varghese joins us as a general gastroenterologist and is excited to make Northeast Georgia her new home while
providing comprehensive gastrointestinal care to patients throughout our region.
Dr. Varghese also becomes the second female gastroenterologist in our practice, joining Dr. Shelnut and providing our
patients with even more choice when selecting their GI physician.
Her arrival also marks the final addition to our newest group of five physicians!

Welcome home, Dr. Jacob!
Today we're excited to officially welcome Jake Jacob, MD, to Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville, P.C.
For Dr. Jacob, today represents more than the beginning of a new professional chapter - it's a return home.
A Flowery Branch native, Dr. Jacob has returned to Northeast Georgia to provide advanced gastrointestinal care to the
community where he grew up.
His addition expands our expertise in areas including ERCP, Endo FLIP and esophageal care, helping us continue to
bring more specialized GI services closer to home.

Meet Subhash Garikipati, MD!
Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville, P.C. is excited to welcome Dr. Subhash Garikipati to our growing
physician team.
Dr. Garikipati is an advanced and interventional trained gastroenterologist who brings an expanded procedural skill set
to Northeast Georgia.
He joins Dr. Nish*t Patel, who became part of our practice on August 10 and is also advanced trained, further
strengthening the specialized GI care available to our patients.
