We are living though a period where the intentional imbalance of the feminine and masculine energies of nature inherent to all living beings is being starkly revealed within our species.

While this imbalance isn’t something new, it feels like we are in a pivotal moment where humans are collectively being pushed to reconcile this imbalance within and without.

While the building momentum around this harmonization feels clear and people of all identities are answering this call of reconciliation, there are many others digging in their heels.

And I get it.

Confronting this imbalance challenges the fabric of how people have come to understand themselves, others, and the world around them. It challenges the ways society for generations has taught us to perceive and act towards the masculine and feminine forces of nature. It challenges our own definition of being in integrity with the balance of these forces within ourselves and our lives.

Yes, it requires much of us.

And it is also an invitation, an initiation of sorts for us to take deeper self responsibility to pave a new more life affirming path forward, together, that truly honors and respects all aspects of the sacred dualities of life that steward life on this planet, human and more than human.

Relationship is a universally understood experience that transcends species.

It is a felt thing with between all animate forces and beings.

It is something that exists outside the social constructs of language, identity, belief, culture.

It is the very force that shapes and informs the creation of such things.

In its purest unadulterated expression, it activates a deep memory all living beings carry.

A remembrance of the oneness that connects and weaves through us all.

That allows us to experience life, to know ourselves more deeply through the reflection of another.

To birth a more expansive, a more care filled way of walking in the world.

To feel what it means in embodied way to be in right relationship with LIFE.

Taking a deep bow to this land of enchantment. This magical desert.

I am still landing and continuing to integrate the deep work and profound teachings from this past month. To do this deeper internal work right now with the state of world feels quite apropos. We are living in a time that is asking much of each of us - not just externally, but internally. Not just for ourselves, but for all humans, for all living beings, for the planet. What we choose can no longer just be about what we have been programmed by society to want or need to feel “healthy” “happy” or “safe”. Individualistic programs that house an agenda that clearly has nothing to do with caring about the true health or safety of living beings. We have to understand that our lives and our choices impact more than just ourselves and our close circle. And that the ripples of our actions and inactions create serious life affirming or life denying consequences in our shared world. It is our sovereign choice to decide what kind of world we want to create next and yes, it will require us to get honest, raw, and uncomfortably aware of our own shadows and our lived and ancestral track record of complacency and wounding. That is what is required for all of us to heal this world with integrity.

I want to extend my deepest heartfelt gratitude to the beings that have been present with me during this threshold - to the Sacred Earth, Sun, Wind and Water that have grounded, nourished, and fed me, to Katie Randall and Grandmother LánéSaán for all of your guidance, wisdom, and profound commitment to life, to all of the plants and animals that have shared the medicine and teachings of their essence with me, to the Indigenous Stewards and Keepers of the San Felipe, Santa Ana, Pecos, and Jemez Pueblos that have permitted me to exist in harmony and peace with them during this time, to my ancestors for guiding me into deeper layers of embodied healing and knowing, to my sweet Chloe for being the sweetest companion on all of my grand adventures, to my loved ones for your unconditional support and love in my walk, to this twisty, windy beautiful camino and to Life!

Hi hi!

With more people following this page, I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself and share a little bit about me and the mission of m practice, Sacred Space!

My name is Arielle and I am somatic psychotherapist, shamanic practitioner, and ceremonialist serving people in the Southern California and DMV area.

My curiosity about healing began early on in life when I wanted to figure out how to help ease the internal pain of my family members. This strong desire was also inextricably connected to figuring out to create more safety for myself as I grew up.

This has led me down a wild, beautiful, intense, and windy journey of personal work, study, and practice devoted to learning the art of helping people holistically heal the often unseen, but deeply felt wounds from past and present pain.

I have dedicated over ten years of my life learning and serving the collective in this way.

I have served as trusted counsel to folks from all walks of life - from women’s shelters to in-patient psychiatric hospitals, substance abuse treatment centers to clinical research hospitals, assertive community treatment teams to crisis homes to private psychotherapy practices.

I have studied with renowned Indigenous elders, maestros, and maestros, shamanic teachers, clinical social workers, psychotherapists, somatic pracitioners, energy workers, and yoga teachers from all over the world.

In 2020, I opened my own practice, Sacred Space, to continue deepening my devotion to this work and to my greater mission - to curate multidimensional healing spaces to promote the authentic embodiment of healing for all human beings and to help restore healthy and balanced, mutually compassionate relationships between humans and more than human beings.

It is an honor to help steward the health and healing of humanity and the relationships we all share with the greater than human beings and forces, seen and unseen, on this planet.
