Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting our Dealing with Dementia Workshop, and we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Dawn with the Virginia Cooperative Extension for sharing her time, knowledge, and valuable resources with us!

Dawn provided attendees with helpful information, practical caregiving strategies, and a comprehensive handbook filled with guidance and resources to help families better understand dementia and navigate the challenges of caring for a loved one. We are so grateful for the opportunity to provide education and support to caregivers in our community. Thank you to everyone who attended, and a special thank you to Virginia Cooperative Extension and The Carter Center for helping us make this workshop possible!

BINGO, but make it spooky! 👻🎃

We had a fun afternoon at Galax Health & Rehab yesterday playing Bingo! Residents enjoyed Halloween themed prizes and festive cupcakes while they played! It was the perfect way to kick off Spooky Season!
