So many of us live in go, go, go mode all the time.
Stress, busy schedules, poor sleep, tension, and constant worry can keep the body stuck in what’s often called fight-or-flight mode.
One of the beautiful things about massage is that it helps guide the body back into the parasympathetic nervous system — your body’s natural rest, relax, and heal mode. 💙
This is when your breathing slows, your muscles begin to let go, your heart rate can decrease, and your body is finally able to focus on healing and recovery.
I often tell my clients that sometimes the body doesn’t realize how much stress it’s carrying until it finally has permission to relax.
Massage is so much more than relieving tight muscles — it supports your entire nervous system and helps your body remember what calm feels like.
