Good brain health is the ability to think, learn, and remember clearly. It is needed to carry out many everyday activities effectively. Various factors can impact brain health, including age-related changes, injuries such as stroke, mood disorders, substance use disorder and certain health disease.

Healthy habits for your brain include protecting your head from injuries, avoid smoking, managing blood pressure, eating healthy meals, managing diabetes, maintaining a healthy weight, being physically active and having good sleep habits.

Live To***co Free

Although to***co use is still the single largest preventable cause of death and chronic disease in the United States, only about 30 percent of U.S. colleges and universities currently have smoke-free or to***co-free policies in place. In 2010, nearly 25 percent of full-time college students ages 18-24 were smokers. This infographic was created to inform college students about the benefits of living smoke-free, and to highlight resources that can be used to promote smoke-free campuses.
