Have you ever asked AI a health question and thought, “Okay… but how does this actually apply to me?”

In this new world of AI, it’s easy to turn to technology for quick answers:
• Meal ideas
• Calorie counting
• Macro tracking
• Workouts
• Nutrition advice

And while AI can be an incredibly helpful tool, it is not the full answer.

Because your health is not one-size-fits-all.

Your health is not just data.

AI does not know your full story. It does not understand your emotions, your stress, your lifestyle, your medical history, your hormones, or the real-life challenges that impact your health every day.

And true wellness goes far beyond nutrition.

It is about understanding the body as a whole:
• Stress
• Sleep
• Hormonal imbalances
• Autoimmune concerns
• Cardiovascular health
• Metabolic dysfunction
• Lifestyle habits
• Longevity

AI can provide information, but it cannot sit across from you and hear what you are really struggling with.

It cannot recognize when something needs adjustment.

It cannot offer human empathy, clinical judgment, accountability, or personalized guidance based on the full picture of who you are.

That is where the human side of health matters so deeply.

I believe AI should be viewed as a support tool… not a substitute.

When used collaboratively, AI can support the work we do together. But human guidance goes far beyond a plan on paper. It brings compassion, personalization, real-world insight, and the ability to adapt when life changes.

Because meaningful change is not about instant gratification.

It is about understanding the process, building trust, and creating long-term health benefits that support your body, mind, and overall well-being.

As a board-certified health coach, integrative nutritionist, and expert wellness advisor, my work is rooted in the human connection that technology cannot replace.

Because when it comes to your health, feeling seen, supported, understood, and guided by someone you trust is not just helpful... it is essential.

Human-to-human connection is authentic, organic, and at the very core of lasting change!

I am honored to be the Keynote Speaker for The Conversation at Molloy University on September 18th!

This year, the focus of this event is Purpose-Driven Leadership: Leading with Purpose, Progress, and Possibility.

Leadership is about so much more than titles, responsibilities, and accomplishments. It is about purpose. It is about how we show up for others while remaining connected to ourselves. And it is about having the courage to lead with intention, authenticity, and heart.

In my keynote, Nurturing the Soul for the Role: Purpose-Driven Leadership, we will explore how personal well-being and professional success are deeply connected. Together, we'll discuss practical strategies for cultivating resilience, strengthening leadership presence, navigating challenges with clarity, and leading in a way that is aligned with our values and purpose.

My hope is that attendees leave feeling inspired, empowered, and reminded that sustainable leadership begins from within. When we nurture ourselves, we are better equipped to lead others, create meaningful impact, and embrace new possibilities for growth.

I look forward to joining faculty, staff, administrators, emerging leaders, and professionals from across our community for what promises to be a meaningful and impactful conversation.

Hope to see you there, as this is a conversation you don't want to miss!

Registration information will be released soon, and seating will be limited. Be sure to watch for details, as spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For questions or early event inquiries, please reach out to Molloy University's Angela Zimmerman, Director of Development & Alumni Relations, at 516-323-4723.

What an unforgettable evening celebrating Long Island music, legacy, friendship, and the power of preserving history for future generations.

On Saturday, June 6th, my husband, Ernie Canadeo, Chairman of the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame, proudly welcomed and inducted the legendary Dennis Arfa, Billy Joel's longtime agent and trusted friend of more than 50 years.

Hearing Billy Joel reflect on their decades-long friendship, shared journey, and extraordinary partnership was incredibly moving. It was a reminder that behind every legendary career are relationships built on trust, loyalty, vision, and a deep belief in one another.

For me, the evening was also deeply personal. Sitting beside our dear friends Richie Cannata and his wife, Shirleen, brought everything full circle. In 1978, at just 15 years old, I attended my very first concert: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden. Decades later, to be in a room surrounded by the musicians and industry icons who helped create the soundtrack of so many lives was truly surreal.

One of the most inspiring parts of the evening was seeing Ernie’s vision extend beyond honoring the legends of yesterday by creating opportunities for the artists of tomorrow. The debut performance by Albert Liu & The Wildhearts, honoring Billy Joel and Dennis Arfa, was a powerful reminder that legacy is not only about preserving the past. It is also about opening doors for the next generation.

Congratulations to my husband, Ernie, whose passion, dedication, and vision continue to preserve Long Island’s incredible musical heritage while inspiring future artists, dreamers, and storytellers.

As Billy Joel so perfectly said, “These are the times to remember.”

And this was certainly one of them.

Grateful to have witnessed such a meaningful night in Long Island music history🎷

The greatest health crisis facing women today is not menopause itself. It is the lack of education, awareness, and support surrounding it.

When women understand their bodies, they reclaim their power. 💗

It was an honor to be one of the speakers at last week’s Newsday’s Working Mom Summit, discussing one of the most significant and often silent health challenges facing women today: hormonal health and longevity.

As women, we spend nearly one-third of our lives navigating perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. Yet many are still made to believe that fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, weight changes, poor sleep, loss of confidence, and burnout are simply a normal part of aging.

But it does not have to be accepted as normal.

Here are a few key messages from our conversation:

✨ Women’s health needs more awareness, education, and prevention.
The rising rates of anxiety, depression, burnout, cardiovascular disease, metabolic dysfunction, osteoporosis, cognitive decline, and autoimmune conditions among women cannot be ignored.

✨ Symptoms should not be dismissed or normalized.
Too often, women are told what they are feeling is “just stress,” “just aging,” or “just hormones,” leaving them feeling unheard, unseen, and unsupported.

✨ Menopause is not the end of vitality.
This season can become a powerful catalyst for reinvention, resilience, wisdom, and renewed purpose.

✨ Longevity is about quality of life.
It is not simply about living longer. It is about preserving energy, cognition, mobility, independence, confidence, and vitality for decades to come.

✨ This season can be an invitation to reconnect with yourself.
With the right education, support, and lifestyle strategies, women can move through midlife with more clarity, confidence, strength, and self-awareness.

My mission remains clear: to help women become proactive rather than reactive, empowering them to thrive physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually throughout every stage of life.

The conversation around women’s health is changing, and together, we are helping lead that change.

If you are in this chapter of life and craving more understanding, support, and practical tools, I’m here to help you navigate it with more clarity and confidence. 💗

What an empowering and meaningful day it was at Wednesday's Newsday’s Working Mom Summit. It was incredible to spend the day surrounded by so many inspiring women. 💗

A huge thank you to the incredible women of Newsday who did such an amazing job bringing this sold-out event together and creating space for conversations that truly matter. And thank you to Elisa DiStefano for hosting with such warmth, energy, and grace.

I was honored to be part of the breakout session, along with Ingrid A Dodd and Dr. Stephanie Trentacoste McNally, “Midlife Momentum: Parenting, Perimenopause and Professional Power on Long Island,” moderated by Newsday’s Shari Einhorn.

We kept the conversation real, honest, engaging, and 100% no filter. We talked about parenting, perimenopause, the mental load, hormonal changes, and the many challenges women navigate while continuing to show up for everyone around them.

It was also incredibly special to hear from the remarkable Joan Lunden as the keynote speaker, as she shared stories and reflections from her life and incredible career. Her wisdom, honesty, and presence brought so much inspiration to the day.

Here’s to more conversations that help women feel seen, supported, educated, and empowered in every season of life!

🌟 If this resonates with you and you’re looking for support in navigating this season with more clarity, balance, and confidence, send me a message or email me at [email protected]. I’d love to connect.

Last night’s Women’s Wellness Membership Event with The St. Catherine’s Philoptochos of Brookville at PureCare Pharmacy & Wellness was a beautiful reminder of how meaningful it is when women come together to learn, connect, and feel supported in their wellness journey.

There is something so powerful about being in a room filled with women who are open to learning, asking questions, and rethinking what it means to age with strength, vitality, and intention.

A heartfelt thank you to Georgia and Tom Amigdalos of PureCare Pharmacy & Wellness for hosting such a thoughtful evening and for creating a space where meaningful conversations around women’s health could truly unfold.

It was an honor to speak alongside Tom Amigdalos, R Ph, President of PureCare Pharmacy & Wellness, and Dr. Roxanne Carfora, Specialist in Preventive Medicine & Women’s Health. Together, we explored women’s wellness from different but deeply connected perspectives — hormones, supplements, prevention, lifestyle, nutrition, stress, resilience, and long-term vitality.

One of the biggest takeaways from the evening was this: women deserve to feel informed, supported, and empowered in every season of life.

So often, we push through fatigue, stress, hormonal changes, inflammation, sleep struggles, and emotional overwhelm as if they are just “part of getting older.” But our bodies are always communicating with us — and when we learn how to listen, we can begin to support ourselves in a more personalized and meaningful way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared in the conversation, and made the evening so special. I am grateful to be part of these important discussions that help women better understand their bodies, their health, and their next chapter. ✨

On Thursday, May 28th, I will be speaking at The St. Catherine’s Philoptochos of Brookville Women’s Wellness Membership Event, hosted by Georgia and Tom Amigdalos, at PureCare Pharmacy & Wellness.

The event will feature A Conversation on Longevity: Rethinking Hormones, Supplements & Pro-Aging Strategies, bringing together an important discussion on how women can take a more proactive, informed, and personalized approach to health as they age.

I will be discussing longevity through the lens of integrative nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and root-cause wellness, including how nutrition, stress, sleep, inflammation, gut health, metabolic health, and the mind-body connection all play a meaningful role in how we feel, function, and age.

Many women live in a state of sympathetic overdrive: high stress, high performance, and high output. Over time, this can elevate cortisol and create downstream effects throughout the body, influencing energy, sleep, hormones, digestion, inflammation, and overall resilience.

I look forward to joining this meaningful conversation with fellow speakers Tom Amigdalos, R.Ph, President of PureCare Pharmacy & Wellness, who will discuss supplements and how they may support an individualized wellness plan, and Dr. Roxanne Carfora, Specialist in Preventive Medicine & Women’s Health, who will discuss hormones, menopause, and the physiological changes women experience during midlife and beyond.

As women move through different stages of life, it is essential to understand that symptoms, energy changes, hormonal shifts, and metabolic changes are not isolated concerns. They are often connected to the broader picture of overall wellness.

My goal is to help women feel more educated, empowered, and supported in making choices that promote long-term vitality, resilience, and quality of life.

✨If this conversation resonates with you, I welcome you to message me to learn more about how I support women in creating personalized wellness strategies for this next chapter of life.

So, we’re expected to lead, parent, perform, and “keep it all together”… while our body is changing too?

Women in midlife are expected to lead, nurture, perform, support everyone around them, and somehow “hold it all together” while quietly navigating profound physical, emotional, and hormonal changes of their own.

I am beyond honored to be a featured panelist at Newsday’s Working Mom Summit for the breakout session: “Midlife Momentum: Parenting, Perimenopause and Professional Power on Long Island.”

This conversation is about far more than perimenopause. It is about recognizing how deeply transformative and transitional this season of life truly is for women. A sacred shift that invites us to rediscover ourselves with greater wisdom, awareness, resilience, and strength.

As mothers, leaders, wives, partners, caregivers, and professionals, women are constantly evolving. During this chapter, we are often called to rebuild and reconnect with ourselves emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually, creating a new understanding of how our bodies, minds, and spirits work together within the holy trilogy of mind, body, and soul.

These shifts are not signs that we are losing ourselves; they are opportunities to recreate ourselves with deeper intention, balance, self-awareness, and empowerment. Through education, support, functional wellness strategies, stress management, hormonal health, sleep, gut-brain connection, emotional resilience, and compassionate conversation, women can emerge stronger, wiser, and more aligned than ever before.

Together, we will discuss the realities of hormonal changes, sleep disruption, stress, brain fog, caregiving, leadership, and the mental load so many women silently carry, while also honoring the beauty, wisdom, and power that can emerge through this transition.

We are also incredibly honored to have Joan Lunden, award-winning journalist, bestselling author, and former co-host of Good Morning America, as the keynote speaker. Her presence brings such depth, wisdom, and inspiration to a day centered around the realities, resilience, and strength of working mothers.

Grateful to stand alongside such incredible voices for this meaningful and necessary discussion at Newsday’s Working Mom Summit.
