Because “pushing through” when you have a chronic illness isn’t a productivity hack, it’s a nervous system tax you pay later. usually with interest. The crash after the push is real and the flare after the “good week” is real, and the guilt you feel for not being able to do what healthy people do without thinking? also real.

You’re not dramatic. You’re not lazy. You’re working harder than most people just to show up.
