Everyone talks about color theory, pigments, and needle configurations, but one of the most overlooked skills in Lip Blush is proper stretching.
The skin on the lips is extremely thin, delicate. Without the right stretch, pigment implantation becomes inconsistent, saturation can look patchy, and unnecessary trauma can occur.
💋 Key Tips for Stretching the Outer Lips:
✔️ Create a firm, controlled stretch, not an aggressive pull.
✔️ Keep the skin taut and stable so the needle can implant pigment evenly.
✔️ Use multiple points of tension instead of relying on one hand.
✔️ Follow the natural contour of the vermilion border.
✔️ Adjust your stretch as you move through different sections of the lips.
Remember: Every area of the lips requires a different stretching technique. The outer border, corners, and inner lips all behave differently and should be treated differently.
A beautiful healed result isn't just about pigment choice, it's about proper skin management throughout the procedure.
