There are moments when what we need is not another piece of advice, but simply a space quiet enough for the body to soften, the mind to slow down, and for us to return to our natural rhythm.

At iHealing, every sound healing session is prepared as a private space — warm, peaceful, and unhurried.

You don’t have to try to “heal.”
You don’t have to become a different version of yourself.
Just lie down, listen… and allow yourself to rest.

Sometimes, healing begins with something very simple: feeling safe enough to be still.

The subtlety of iHealing is not found in complexity, but in the simplest things.

A piece of wood. A soft cloth. A moment of stillness.
Everything in its place, just enough — nothing more, nothing less.

Because sometimes, healing isn’t about adding more… it’s about letting go, until we can once again touch the peace that has always lived within us.

A SMALL CHANGE — A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE ON CARING FOR OUR BODIES

Lately, I’ve been taking a closer look at some of the everyday things I use — from food and skincare to something as simple as toothpaste.

And I decided to experiment with a much simpler alternative:

Finely ground Himalayan salt mixed with coconut oil. 🥥🧂

What I appreciate about this choice is its simplicity. I know exactly what I’m putting in my mouth: salt and coconut oil, rather than a long list of ingredients I may not fully understand.

But I also think it’s important to separate science from personal belief.

🔬 From a scientific perspective:
Fluoride isn’t simply a “bad chemical.” Fluoride toothpaste has been extensively studied, and there is strong evidence that it helps strengthen enamel and prevent tooth decay.

So choosing a more natural alternative does not mean I’m denying those benefits. Himalayan salt and coconut oil should not be considered scientifically equivalent to fluoride when it comes to cavity prevention.

🌙 From a spiritual perspective:
There is a belief within some spiritual communities that fluoride may be associated with calcification of the pineal gland — an area that has long been symbolically connected with the “third eye,” intuition, and our ability to see beyond the surface.

I find this perspective interesting, but I personally see it as a spiritual belief rather than a scientifically established fact.

For me, the bigger question isn’t about being afraid of “chemicals.”

It’s about becoming more conscious of what I choose to put into my body every day.

I’m simply exploring a way of living that feels simpler, more intentional, and more connected to nature. 🌿

This is my personal choice and experience — not dental advice. If someone chooses to stop using fluoride completely, I believe it’s still important to pay attention to their individual dental health and risk of cavities.

Sometimes healing isn’t about adding more.
Sometimes it’s about simplifying what we already use. 🌱

DIY Rainstick Using Chia Seeds

There are many beautiful rainsticks available on the market, but there’s something uniquely meaningful about creating one with your own hands.

This is the rainstick I built using very simple materials:

* A clear plastic wallpaper storage tube
* Chia seeds
* Bamboo toothpicks
* Soft yarn wrapped around the outside for a comfortable grip

The most important feature is the seed flow control system.

Inside the tube, at the position I’m pointing to in the photo, I installed a small plastic disc with a hole in the center. This simple component acts as the heart of the instrument.

* A smaller hole allows the chia seeds to fall more slowly, creating a long, gentle rainfall effect.
* A larger hole lets the seeds pass through more quickly, producing the sound of a heavier rain.

By simply changing the size of this opening, you can completely change the character of the rainstick.

I chose chia seeds because they are small, uniform in size, and produce a soft, delicate sound. As they travel through the maze of bamboo toothpicks, they create a smooth, natural rain texture without the harsher noise that larger seeds often produce.

The bamboo toothpicks are inserted in alternating directions to slow the movement of the seeds. This internal structure is what gives the instrument its depth and realism.

Finally, I wrapped the outside with yarn to improve grip, make the instrument more comfortable to hold, reduce handling noise, and give it a warm handcrafted appearance.

One of the things I love most about sound healing is that meaningful instruments don’t always have to be expensive. Sometimes, creativity, curiosity, and a little patience are all you need to create an instrument that carries your own personal signature.

How do you clean your sound healing mallets?

This is something I rarely see people talk about.

Most practitioners simply wipe the mallet head with a dry cloth, and that’s perfectly fine for routine maintenance. However, soft wool or felt mallets naturally collect dust, skin oils, and tiny airborne particles over time.

I’ve started using a different approach.

Dry shampoo.

The idea is surprisingly simple.

If dry shampoo can refresh human hair without water, why not apply the same concept to wool or felt mallet heads?

I lightly spray a small amount onto the mallet head, let it sit for a few minutes so it can absorb oils and dust, then gently brush it off with a clean microfiber cloth or a soft brush.

What I like about this method:

• No water, which helps avoid affecting the adhesive or the structure of the mallet head.
• The fibers stay soft and fluffy.
• The mallet feels cleaner without becoming damp.

This is simply a maintenance routine that works well for my own collection, especially my soft wool mallets for gongs and singing bowls. Since every mallet is made differently, I always recommend testing on a small area first.

Taking care of our instruments is more than maintenance—it is also a way of honoring the sounds they create.

A Small Meditation Corner. A Second Life for Old Materials. 🌿

Many people believe that creating a beautiful healing space requires a large budget.

For me, what truly matters is the meaning behind the space.

This new meditation corner at iHealing was built primarily by giving old materials a second life.

✨ Reclaimed wood, carefully restored.
✨ Existing furniture, thoughtfully repurposed.
✨ Pieces that many would consider “finished” have been transformed into something meaningful again.

Not because I wanted to save money.

But because I believe everything deserves a second chance.

In many ways, it’s a reflection of people.

Sometimes we go through difficult seasons. We carry stress, emotional wounds, and experiences that make us feel worn out. But that doesn’t mean we’ve lost our value.

When we’re placed in the right environment, surrounded by peace, compassion, and space to simply breathe, we too can be renewed—just like these old materials.

This meditation room wasn’t designed to impress.

It was created to give you a place where you can simply…

• Sit in silence.
• Take a deep breath.
• Meditate.
• Read a book.
• Or simply do… nothing.

In a world that constantly encourages us to move faster, achieve more, and stay busy, I hope this little corner reminds us that sometimes…

Slowing down is also a way of moving forward.

Welcome to the newest peaceful corner of iHealing.

People often ask me, “Why do you keep upgrading your healing room?”

The answer is simple.

Because I listen.

After every session, I ask one question:

“If there were one thing that could make your experience even more comfortable, what would it be?”

Every suggestion matters.

Some people preferred being closer to the ground.

Others loved the natural warmth and calming feeling of traditional tatami.

Some wished for a larger bed so they could fully relax throughout the entire sound healing session.

And several guests shared their interest in grounding, so I added a Grounding Pad as an optional feature for those who enjoy incorporating grounding practices into their relaxation experience.

Little by little…

The room evolved.

Not because I wanted it to look more luxurious.

Not because I wanted to follow trends.

But because I wanted every guest to feel:

“I am truly cared for here.”

Healing is more than the sound of singing bowls and gongs.

It is also about feeling heard, respected, and welcomed into a space where you can finally let go.

The new tatami bed.

The tatami mats.

The Grounding Pad.

And every future improvement…

All started with feedback from the people who have trusted me with their healing journey.

Thank you to everyone who has shared your thoughts and helped shape iHealing into what it is today.

My hope is that each time you return, the room feels familiar—yet just a little more comfortable than before.

To me, that’s what a true healing space is all about. 🙏

Sometimes, nature knows best.

Many people notice the small stone hanging beneath our Paiste Gong and ask:

“Is it just for decoration?”

Not at all.

After experimenting with different suspension methods, I discovered something fascinating.

By adding a carefully selected natural stone to the bottom of the suspension cord, the entire hanging system behaves differently. The stone acts as a counterweight, helping to reduce unnecessary movement after each strike. Instead of allowing the whole gong to swing freely, it encourages more of the instrument's energy to remain within the vibrating surface itself.

The result—at least to my ears and through my own playing experience—is remarkable.

• A warmer tone.
• A clearer, more focused resonance.
• Greater stability during soft passages.
• Less excessive swinging, making the gong easier to control with subtle dynamics.

It’s a small detail, but sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference.

What I love most is that this improvement doesn't come from advanced technology or expensive hardware.

It comes from nature.

A simple stone.

One that quietly becomes part of the instrument without asking for attention.

This perfectly reflects the philosophy of iHealing:

Healing doesn't always come from adding more. Sometimes it comes from allowing everything to work in harmony.

Every instrument has its own voice.

Sometimes, all it needs is the right balance to let that voice be heard.

Note: This is based on my personal experience with my own Paiste Gong setup. The effect may vary depending on the gong, suspension system, counterweight, and playing technique.

One year with singing bowls didn’t change who I am.

It simply taught me to listen more deeply.

To myself.
To life.
And most importantly, to my son.

I’ve come to realize that the greatest gift a father can offer isn’t wealth or success.

It’s a calm and grounded presence that a child can carry for a lifetime.

iHealing
Healing ourselves may be the most meaningful gift we give our children.
