Our Merle Story: Meet Susan Simpson.

When I was 13, my mother, like so many of your moms, took me to the local Merle Norman studio in Birmingham. They taught me the basics of cleansing and how to apply foundation. Over the years I’ve always worn Merle products, as it seemed to actually transform the look and feel of my skin.

I am inspired by the women who stop in for their favorite foundation, teens discovering skin care for the first time, mothers and daughters who make Merle Norman part of their daily routine.

After 18 years at my corporate job, I (left it all behind*) to begin the new adventure of owning and operating my own Merle Norman studio. Stop by, say hello, and allow us to help you (*revive, jump-start, invigorate*) your makeup and skin care needs.

The Craft family has left behind a wonderful legacy in this community, and I look forward to building on their service. As new owners, our mission is simple: Honor what makes this studio special while bringing fresh energy, expanded services, and a renewed commitment to personalized care.

(In that vein*), we are proud to announce the introduction of professional esthetician services, ranging from custom facials to advanced skincare treatments, right here in the studio, an addition designed to elevate the Merle Norman experience and help our clients feel even more radiant.
