📢📢Attention!!! 📢📢 My experience on why consistancy matters. Scans attached for the TLDR crowd but it's worth the read.
The "fall off" can happen quicker than you think. I like to share the good the bad and the ugly about working out and dieting so maybe others can use my experiences as motivation or support. I DID THIS FOR RESEARCH SO NO SYMPATHY PLEASE!!! For this experiment I took off almost completely from the gym. Since August 15th I've gone to the gym maybe 5 times. My diet is was what I would consider the "average American Diet". I didnt track calories or macros. I seldomly drank soda, mostly water and milk. I ate 3 meals a day. I ate fast food sparingly, allowed myself sweets here and there and removed all supplements from my diet. No protein, no creatine, no electrolytes not even a multivitamin!!
I had planned on starting back on 10/1 but in all honesty I have been struggling with motivation. I didnt feel like working out. I didnt feel like planning my meals out. Im mentally and physically fatigued. I almost went too far and like I said, I didnt go crazy just eating everything I wanted, I was still somewhat reserved. I just ate how most people eat today. But...my scan this morning has given me motivation and really puts into perspective what can changes and how quickly it can change.
The scan only shows half the story. It doesnt show you how bad Im sleeping, how bad my joints hurt, how mentally drained and low energy I am or just how uncomfortable I feel in general. Hopefully this is proof for some of you about the realities of a sedentary lifestyle even if you think your diet isn't "that bad" as I did.
Now it's time for the comeback story! Whatever you are going through in life, whatever your circumstances are you owe it to yourself and your family to take care of your health. You dont have to go full ham right off the bat. Make little changes here and there and it will all add up in the end. I promise your future self will thank you.
Lets get to work 💪💪💪🫡 today is day 1! Make it yours too. Come see us today and lets talk about what we can do for you wherever you are in your journey.
