We had such a great time volunteering at Gardnerville Elementary School’s Health Fair last Thursday! Our “Build Your Own First Aid Kit” station was a HUGE hit with the kids (and adults)! 🩹✨

We loved seeing the kids get excited while learning about being prepared and staying safe. A big thank you to Gardnerville Elementary School and Carson Valley Health for letting us be part of such a fun and meaningful event! 🥰

Our School Supply Drive officially kicks off TODAY! We’re excited to help local students head back to school feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn! 💙

From now through September 30th, we’re collecting school supply donations for all aged children in our community. Every backpack, box of crayons, notebook, pencil, and supply makes a difference! 🖍️📓✏️

Our Physical Therapy team knows that rehabilitation doesn’t have to feel like work! 💪

✨ Our residents had a fun and engaging group session filled with inflatable bats, balloons, plenty of movement, and lots of laughter! 😂🎈

The highlight of the day? A hilarious game of “Granny Panties”! 👵🩲

These creative activities help our residents work on coordination, balance, movement, strength, and social engagement while having a great time together. ❤️

A huge shoutout to our amazing therapy team for finding fun and meaningful ways to keep our residents moving, smiling, and engaged! 🌟

We had such a wonderful time volunteering at the Douglas County Community & Senior Center for their Pastries on the Patio event! It was a fun and relaxing way to connect with local seniors, enjoy some great conversation, and share information about Gardnerville Health & Rehab and the services we provide at our skilled nursing facility. 🏡

We’re so grateful for opportunities like this to be involved in our community, build meaningful connections, and let our local seniors know we’re here when they need us! 😊

✏️🍎HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE THIS SCHOOL YEAR! 🍎✏️

Gardnerville Health and Rehab is excited to host a School Supply Drive from August 10th through September 30th to help local students start the year with the tools they need to succeed!

We are collecting new school supplies of all kinds, for all ages, and every donation, big or small, will make a meaningful impact on children in our community. Donations can be dropped off at our facility during business hours.
