“Physical therapy version of halftime: patient changing for their exam. ☕🍴🏃‍♀️
Busy days are busy days—make sure you get your caffeine, water, and food in when you can. 💧☕🍎

Physical therapy isn’t always huge breakthroughs and easy wins.
Sometimes it’s slow progress, sore muscles, frustration, and showing up even when it feels hard.
Some days you feel strong. Other days, every step feels heavier than the last. But that doesn’t mean you’re failing — it means you’re still climbing.
Healing isn’t always dramatic. Most of the time, it’s built through consistency, patience, and refusing to give up on yourself.
One step at a time still gets you forward. 🥾💪

Start your week with something that helps your body and your mind. ✨
A morning walk, a quick gym session, deep breathing, or even 10 minutes of meditation can help lower stress levels — and your pelvic floor will thank you for it.
Stress doesn’t just affect your mood. It can contribute to pelvic pain, tension, leaking, urgency, and other pelvic floor symptoms.
Small habits. Big impact. 💙

Static stretching isn’t always the best first step. 👏
Stretching too hard, too long, or before your muscles are warmed up can actually increase irritation instead of helping. Dr. Jodi explains how to stretch safely, when static stretching is most effective, and what signs your body may be giving you. ✨🧘‍♀️

Memorial Day may be over, but gratitude never ends. 🇺🇸
Today, we pause to remember the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy every day. Thank you to those who served, those who continue to serve, and the families who stand beside them. ❤️
As we head back into our routines, may we carry a little more appreciation, kindness, and perspective with us.

You’re never “just another patient” to Dr. Jodi. 🤍
Behind every treatment plan, follow-up, and recommendation is someone who genuinely cares about how you feel, heal, and thrive. Even outside the office, she’s always thinking about ways to better support her patients and help them become the healthiest version of themselves.
Because great care starts with truly caring. ✨

🏃‍♀️ LIFE HAPPENS… AND THAT’S OKAY 👏
Even health professionals have busy seasons. Between patients, schedules, family, and life — sometimes the workout, the run, or the “perfect plan” has to shift.
At AcesoPT, we believe health isn’t about perfection. It’s about consistency, balance, and giving yourself grace while still moving forward. 💙
So if your routine looked different today, you’re not failing. You’re human.
We’ll be back to sharing more soon — but for now, here’s your reminder to:
✔️ Drink your water
✔️ Take a walk
✔️ Stretch your body
✔️ Breathe a little deeper today
Small steps still count. 👟✨

MYTH MONDAY!!!

While hormones and age can play a role, they’re not always the whole story.
The pelvic floor muscles are involved in blood flow, muscle control, core support, and sexual function—and when those muscles aren’t functioning well, symptoms can show up in ways many men don’t expect.
A lot of men are told to just “live with it,” assume it’s something they can’t improve… or are handed a little blue pill without ever looking at why the problem is happening in the first place.
But there may be more going on beneath the surface.
Dr. Jodi works with men to address pelvic floor dysfunction, movement patterns, muscle tension, and other contributing factors that can impact overall pelvic health and sexual function.
