I love rain.
I love the sound it makes as it hits the sills of the house. I love the feeling of wonder that seeds itself within the mist of the morning. I love the way it falls on your face when you look to the sky. I love the stillness that moves with it's presence.
Maybe it’s because I was born in a city that is known for its annual rainfall. Or maybe it's because rain creates the kind of stillness that forces you into a moment of reflection.
A moment of reflection you didn't know you needed. A moment to breathe a little deeper, to soften a little more, to create without over thinking, to feel without judgement.
A moment to remember the stillness. And it's in the stillness that creates space, not only to soften, but to remember.
To remember your completeness. Your expression. Your, you-ness, and the uniqueness of who you are.
Somatics has given me the permission to pause, to experience, and to remember. It's the most valuable tool that I've been taught. And it's an honor to have the opportunity to hold this space for others.
In a way that is sacred, and deeply felt.
I look forward to holding this space for you, too.
With all my love,
Naomi
