I graduated from the former Bryan College’s ( now known as Bryan university) Advanced Health and Fitness Training course in February, 2011 and earned an Associates’ Degree in said course. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I chose to become a mobile certified personal trainer because I know that through knowledge we gain power. We ourselves
have the control to maintain a lifestyle that will encourage good health and I am a member of HFPN (Health and Fitness Provider network) and hold two certificates through HFPN in basic nutrition. Understanding nutritional principles for athletes as well as advanced knowledge in the special nutritional needs of populations such as seniors, youth and pre-postnatal clients is critical in preventative and corrective health matters And determine how well we age. In 2014 I became a group fitness trainer through American sports and fitness association. I know through my own personal experience, we can overcome many health issues without the necessity for drugs and/or surgical procedures simply by making gradual daily lifestyle changes in nutrition and physical activity. It is my belief that with the proper training/coaching, health issues can become much easier to overcome and/or adjust to, resulting in a sense of well being and overall happiness with one’s self. I am very excited to share my knowledge and advice to those ready to make a positive change in their overall health..….one small step at a time.
