You don't need to be flexible.
You don't need to know anything about yoga.
And you definitely don't need to be good at sitting still.

You just need to be tired enough to want a little room to exhale.

Join me for a slow, deeply restful Sunday practice designed for stressed bodies, busy minds, and nervous systems that could use a little less doing.

We'll combine supported restorative yoga postures with meditation and other contemplative practices that may include breathwork, Yoga Nidra, japa mala meditation, or simply a few precious minutes of quiet.

This isn't a workout. There are no complicated poses to master and nowhere you need to "get." You don't even need to get on the floor.

Come comfortable. Get supported. Be still. Breathe.

No yoga experience necessary. All bodies welcome.

🌿 Sunday Sadhana: 10:00–11:30ish
🌿 The Sunday Exhale: 12:30 PM

Come for one or stay for both.

🎨 Lyrics, paint & a little creative chaos 🎶
What a wonderful afternoon at our Lyrics Art Workshop! We took words and lyrics that mean something to us and gave them a new life through paint, color, collage, and whatever inspiration happened to show up.
No need to be an “artist.” No need to make something perfect. Just a table full of supplies, good people, good conversation, and permission to PLAY. 💜

A huge thank you to Allen, Donna, Jean, Niv, Barb, and Zach for coming out, creating with us, laughing with us, and making the afternoon so much fun.
This is exactly the kind of thing I hoped the Lovingkindness Wellness Collective could be—a place where wellness isn't only something that happens on a massage table. Sometimes it's sitting around a crowded table, making art together. 🥰
We absolutely need to do this again.

A huge thank you to Nicole Teach, my soul-sister, from for co-hosting ❤️

Jaw pain, clenching, tension, or trouble opening your mouth comfortably?

A 2024 randomized controlled trial looked at people with temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and compared massage-based treatment with massage plus gentle post-isometric relaxation exercises.

Both groups improved.

But the group that combined massage with gentle muscle relaxation and movement had greater improvements in pain and mouth opening.

That matters because TMJ work doesn’t have to mean aggressively “digging into” sore jaw muscles. Sometimes the better approach is a combination of:

• gentle soft tissue work
• intraoral/buccal massage when appropriate
• slow, comfortable jaw movement
• light isometric muscle engagement
• relaxation and reassessment

The jaw is part of a bigger system, too — neck tension, stress, breathing patterns, clenching habits, and the muscles of the face and shoulders can all play a role.

I love seeing research continue to support thoughtful, conservative hands-on care for TMD.

A little glimpse from today at Lovingkindness! 💚

After Sunday Sadhana, we spent some time with Nicole Teach of Bee Equanimity, sharing conversation, connection, and a little hands-on chair massage. 🌿

I love seeing the Lovingkindness Wellness Collective becoming more than just a place to receive a service—it’s becoming a place to meet, learn, connect, and experience different approaches to wellness.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today, and especially to Nicole for sharing her time and talents with our community. 💛

More little gatherings like this to come!
