Hi friends,
I have already reached out to any clients that would be affected, but Groovy Moon Tattoo will be closed for the rest of this week. I will be taking the time to be with my pup on her last few days with us.
If we have ever had the pleasure of talking about our pets during your tattoo, you know how much my sweet Luna means to me. She is my soul dog and this has been an incredibly difficult week.

I have also been behind on my messages this week due to all of the veterinary visits- my goal is to have everyone replied to and booked early next week. So if you haven’t heard from me, this is why and I will be in touch soon.
As for my Halloween flash, I previously talked about sharing it this week, but due to the circumstances- I will be posting that some time next week along with booking for it. I know people have been asking so I just want to be transparent about how things will be going.

I appreciate all of the kindness and patience through this transition in my personal life. I have loved sharing her with so many of you 🖤

The “Wanna-Do” board is BACK- and jam packed with discounted flash designs that I haven’t tattooed or designs I drew for clients and we never ended up using!
(some of these do have restrictions- sizing/color, ect. Just ask if you’d have any questions!!)

Also wanted to share a few small UPDATESSS:

•MESSAGES: Today is my first day off after tattooing the last 16 days in a row (idk why I do that to myself hehe) 🥲 I kept up with most of my messages & booking inquiries but if you’ve haven’t heard from me yet, I plan on being fully caught up by Thursday at the LATEST!!

•BOOKING: For a little while now, I have been FULLY booked for the weekends for the rest of this year! I won’t be taking weekend appts for 2027 until I have my child’s indoor schedule.
As far as week days & evenings- September, October, and November are also FULLY BOOKED! If I happen to have any cancellations, they will be posted on my Instagram and Facebook, so keep your eyes peeled if you’d ever like to snag a last minute opening!

•HALLOWEEN FLASH: I will be posting my Halloween flash NEXT WEEK. I blocked off and reserved 6 DAYS for flash tattoos in the month of October so availability will be limited! However, you can always make an appt for a later date if you miss out on the initial booking! Don’t feel like you’ll be missing out 🎃👻🕸️

1.) Bleeding hearts to cuff and complete Chelsea’s sleeve
2.) Shamrock cover up of an old Celtic knot tattoo for Mary-Kate! Very excited to add more Irish themed pieces around it
3.)Zodiac constellations positioned to fill the gaps on Megan’s upper arm
4.)Rework of a 10 year old palm tree tattoo. We refined the original tattoo using black & flesh tone, and once that healed fully, we went back in and added the sunset gradient for a pop of color.

Finished up this Soongebob tattoo for my friend, Crystal. Linework and some of the color was already healed in the first picture, so I included where we left off last time for a clear look at some of the linework details. 🥹

This was a memorial piece for her dad who passed earlier this year. My favorite part was studying samples of his writing to replicate the phrase “love you baby” as close as possible to how he would have written it.

I’m so lucky I get to create things like this for a job 🩷
