At Revive Drip, Breast Cancer Awareness Month isnāt just a month on the calendar.
It has a name.
Laura. Our Laura.
The woman who has spent years taking care of everyone else is now learning what it feels like to be the one who needs care.
Weāve watched her hear the words āyou have breast cancer.ā
Weāve watched her sit through appointments, make decisions, prepare for surgery, recover, heal, face the next step, and somehow continue to show up through it all.
Weāve watched her be strong when she needed to be, vulnerable when she needed to be, and somehow continue showing up through it all.
And weāve been there.
For the IVs.
For the appointments.
For the hard days.
For the good days.
For the questions.
For the uncertainty.
For the laughter when we needed it most.
But most importantly, weāve been there for Laura.
Because she isnāt just part of our team.
She is family.
Her journey has changed the way we see this month.
Because behind every statistic is a person.
Behind every diagnosis is a family whose world suddenly looks different.
Behind every pink ribbon is someone fighting, healing, waiting, hoping, grieving, or learning how to navigate a body that has been through something it never asked for.
Laura has reminded us of something we believe deeply at Revive:
Your health is not just about treating what is happening right now. Itās about caring for the whole person.
Her story is still being written.
But today, on October 1st, we want Laura to know one thing:
You do not have to walk through any of this alone.
Laura, we love you.
