10 YEARS UNDER THE BARBELL.
2016–2026.
What started as a small strength gym became something far bigger than barbells and squat racks.
Over the last 10 years we’ve fought through growth, setbacks, uncertainty, reinvention, and moments where losing it all felt very real.
We survived COVID.
We survived a fire in the building.
We survived shutdowns, stress, financial pressure, long nights, and moments that tested everything this place was built on.
But through all of it, this community kept showing up.
Members.
Coaches.
Families.
Athletes.
Friends.
People who believed in what this place stood for long before it was popular or easy.
Gig Harbor Strength was never built to be a trend.
It was built to be a home for real training, real people, and a culture that refuses to quit.
10 years later…
We’re still here.
Still standing.
Still lifting.
And honestly, we’re just getting started.
Thank you to every single person who has walked through these doors and become part of this story.

When the sun goes down, but the cable attachments remain… And suddenly it’s Star Wars episode one – the Phantom Menace all over again. I am Obi-Wan Kenobi, calm, disciplined… Trying to restore order and balance to the galaxy, but these handles, ropes, attachments and straight bar that somehow weighs 40 pounds are from the dark side and it is no longer cleanup anymore. this os an epic battle.

There’s something about Texas that just hits different… especially the food.
Spent some time down there and got a real taste of what great Mexican food is supposed to be. Simple, bold, and done right. No shortcuts. Just real ingredients, real flavor, and portions that don’t mess around.
It reminded me of how training should feel.
Keep it simple.
Do it consistently.
Execute at a high level.
You don’t need complicated. You need effective.
Back home now and bringing that same mindset into the gym and into the kitchen. Meals like this fuel performance, recovery, and real progress.
High protein. Real food. No nonsense.
Recipe REEL dropping next.
Built this into a high-protein, performance-ready version you can actually meal prep and repeat. Stay tuned.
Still standing. Still lifting.

Bunker gear isn’t the look.
It’s what’s underneath it.
Strength.
Control.
Composure under pressure.
You don’t fake presence like this.
You build it.
This isn’t gym fitness.
This is job performance
Train like the call is coming.
