💋 Lip filler isn’t always about making your lips bigger.
Sometimes, the best lip filler is the kind you can’t quite put your finger on — you just know the lips look more balanced, defined, and proportional.
One of my favorite reasons to use filler is to refine natural asymmetry and shape. Almost everyone has some degree of lip asymmetry. One side may sit slightly higher, one peak of the Cupid’s bow may be stronger, or the upper and lower lip proportions may feel a little off.
Strategic filler can help:
✨ Improve asymmetry
✨ Refine the Cupid’s bow & lip border
✨ Balance upper-to-lower lip proportions
✨ Restore subtle volume that’s been lost over time
✨ Create a smoother, more hydrated appearance
And let’s clear up a few lip filler fears while we’re here 👇🏼
“I don’t want huge lips.”
Perfect. Neither do most of my patients. You can make small, intentional adjustments without dramatically increasing the overall size.
“I’m scared I’ll look fake.”
That usually comes down to how the lips are treated. Product choice, placement, amount, anatomy, and knowing when to STOP all matter.
“Once I start, I’ll have to keep doing it forever.”
Nope. You can maintain your results if you love them, or simply allow the filler to gradually diminish over time.
“Everyone will know I had filler.”
Ideally, they’ll notice that you look good — not immediately know what you had done. 😉
Lip filler should be about refinement, not replacement. I’m not trying to give everyone the same lips. I’m working with your anatomy to create a shape that makes sense for your face.
Because sometimes 1 mL isn’t about SIZE — it’s about the details. 💋✨
