The name likely comes from:

Charity boxes placed in churches during Advent, opened on the 26th and distributed to the poor.

Boxes given by employers to workers and tradespeople the day after Christmas.

The tradition of giving alms boxes or collection boxes to those in need.

Our Story

The mission of Acadia Care Group LLC is to be an outstanding Home & Community Based Service (HCBS) agency delivering home & community based services, such as Respite Care, Habilitation Care and Attendant Care, and support to individuals with special needs and their families.

Our job is to promote greater independence, and self reliance, of our members with the help of our caring, skilled and trained Direct Care Workers, also known as Providers, while raising the quality of life for every individual that we help.

Our combined years of experience, knowledge of Developmental Disabilities and the history of individuals with Special Needs is something that the founder, Craig A. Stewart, brings to Acadia Care Group. As a Father of a Special Needs Child, Craig has almost twenty, (20) years personal, and hands on experience, raising his son. Since Cole was a toddler, Craig’s son has been receiving services from the State of Arizona and the Department of Developmental Disabilities.

At Acadia Care Group LLC we take great pride in developing and maintaining long term relationships with our Parents, Guardians, Providers, Members, Families and Employees through continued training, unsurpassed communication and years of successful business experience.
