🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Tabitha 🌟

Tabitha was inspired to become a hospice volunteer through the close relationship she shares with her grandparents. Spending time listening to their stories and helping them with daily tasks helped her discover a love for connecting with older generations.

💙 Favorite part of volunteering:
Getting to know her patients through their stories, families, and life experiences.

"Volunteering offers wisdom, friendship, and the honor of supporting our older generation. It has taught me that life is precious and to count my blessings."

✨ Volunteer Spotlight: Grant ✨

Grant is one of our incredible companionship volunteers 💛 After experiencing the loss of his grandfather, he was inspired to support others who may not have loved ones by their side at the end of life.

“One of my favorite parts of volunteering is slowing down and being present. At this point, I wouldn’t even describe my patient as just a patient — they’ve become a genuine friend.”

Grant is currently finishing his undergraduate degree while pursuing a pre-med path 🎓
