One of the biggest misconceptions in the PMU industry is assuming healed results are determined ONLY by the artist.
Technique absolutely matters …but healing is influenced by so many factors beyond just the appointment itself. Your skin type, hormones, medications, lifestyle, immune response, aftercare, sun exposure, skincare products, and even how your body naturally retains pigment all play a role in your final healed results.
This is why no two clients heal exactly the same. Some clients retain very dark and crisp immediately, while others heal softer and lighter before we perfect everything at the touch-up appointment. Healing is a process, not an instant final result.
One of the most important parts of PMU is understanding that the brows you leave with are NOT the finished outcome. They will soften, fade, settle into the skin, and go through multiple healing stages before revealing the true healed result. Trusting the process is so important.
This is also why customized techniques, proper mapping, pigment selection, depth, skin preparation, and realistic expectations matter so much. PMU is not a one-size-fits-all service, and healed results should always be approached individually for each client.
Beautiful, long-lasting healed results happen when artistry, education, aftercare, and patience all work together because in PMU, the details truly matter 🤍
