The Girard Medical Center Foundation would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas for awarding us a Basic Human Needs Grant to support our project, "Pressure Check: Expanding Access to Home Blood Pressure Monitoring."

Because of this generous support, we were able to provide free blood pressure cuffs to patients in need through the Girard Medical Center Rural Health Clinics. These monitors helped patients take a more active role in managing their health and monitoring their blood pressure at home.

The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas hosts individual charitable funds established by donors with a passion for giving back to their community. Grants from these funds assist people throughout Southeast Kansas and beyond. Questions about the Community Foundation may be directed to 620-231-8897.

We are grateful for community partnerships that help improve the health and well-being of families across Southeast Kansas. 💙

Today, we proudly celebrated the ribbon cutting for GMC’s brand-new CT Machine — made possible by the incredible generosity and support of our community!

The Girard Medical Center Foundation would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who played a part in bringing this project to life. Because of you, we raised an amazing $236,376.00 — enough to purchase the new CT machine and provide additional, much-needed updates to our Radiology Department. 💙🏥

We want to recognize and thank the following Foundations for their generous community grants:

✨ Mount Carmel Foundation Legacy Grant through the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas – $25,000.00

✨ Girard Area Community Foundation – $10,000.00
