2019 vs. Today. ✨ The first photo was taken right before the pandemic, back when I was a burnt out anesthesia traveler running on empty. On a whim, I agreed to go to DC with a friend to train in the field of Aesthetics.

That one “why not” completely reshaped my life. I am so grateful for this chapter and love every moment i step into this space at Lucid Med Spa.

Along with my passion for providing treatments, aesthetic treatments have helped me age in reverse. My skin has its bounce back, and I love how my eyes stay bright and open when I smile. For me, looking awake translates directly to feeling like the best, most resilient version of myself ❤️.

My weekly floral reset always feels a little extra special because of what holds the blooms. Every wooden piece you see around the spa—from the varied vases on our tables to the large vessel by the tea station—was handcrafted by my dad.

He’s a true craftsman who has never sold his work; he simply creates for family and friends to keep his mind active and because he loves working with his hands. It’s a passion for hands-on artistry that I’m so grateful to share with him every day in my own work.

Planning your next DEKA CO2 Laser or PRP Hair Restoration treatment? Let’s talk about pain management and your health. 🤍

If you are considering talking to your provider about adding JOURNAVX (suzetrigine) to your treatment plan for acute pain, it’s important to know how it interacts with certain medications—specifically, hormonal birth control.

Here is what you need to know before your appointment:
✨ The Impact: JOURNAVX can reduce the effectiveness of birth control containing progestins (other than levonorgestrel or norethindrone). This includes the ring, patch, implant, injections, and many common oral pills.
✨ The Exceptions: IUDs are not expected to be affected, and pills containing only levonorgestrel or norethindrone remain fully effective.
✨ The Protocol: If your birth control falls into the impacted category, you will need to use a non-hormonal backup method during your JOURNAVX treatment and for 28 days after your final dose.
