I’ve had someone ask me recently, “Why did you decide to make Grounded online?”
And I realized you might be wondering the same thing.
First, I’m not moving away from in-person yoga.
In-person classes are still an option that will begin later in October. I’m exploring both.
But Grounded is something different.
I wanted to create a structured four-week experience—not just another yoga class.
Each week builds on the one before:
Week 1 — Pause
Learning to slow down and notice what’s happening.
Week 2 — Awareness
Recognizing the patterns in your body, breath, and daily life.
Week 3 — Changing Thoughts
Noticing the thoughts and stories that keep you stuck in “I have to,” “I should,” and “there’s no time for me.”
Week 4 — Sustain
Creating practices you can actually continue long after these four weeks are over.
And I chose an online format because I want these practices to fit into real life.
This picture is from when my son was two. I was trying to get a little yoga practice in while he played—and eventually, he joined me.
It wasn’t quiet.
It wasn’t perfectly set up.
It definitely wasn’t a yoga studio.
But it was real life.
And that’s actually what Grounded is about.
Your life isn’t going to suddenly become calm and perfectly organized.
There will still be kids who need you.
Work.
Laundry.
Full calendars.
Unexpected things.
Days when everything seems to happen at once.
Grounded isn’t about escaping all of that.
It’s about learning how to come back to yourself within it.
That’s why Grounded is online.
Four weeks.
A small group of women.
A structured experience with yoga, breathwork, meditation, reflection, and practical tools you can actually use in your everyday life.
Grounded begins October 6.
If you’ve been feeling like you’re constantly “on,” I’d love to have you join us.
