🦅 THE EAGLE’S PERSPECTIVE — THE END OF THE GURU 🌀

One of the greatest gifts of my spiritual journey has been the extraordinary teachers who have crossed my path.

I’ve traveled the world, studied ancient wisdom, sat with medicine, received initiations and experienced profound transformations. For all of it, I am eternally grateful.

But along the way, I learned something equally valuable.

The wisdom of a teaching and the integrity of the person delivering it are not always the same thing.

I began recognizing incoherent patterns in people I deeply respected. Their words carried beautiful wisdom, yet their actions didn’t always reflect their teachings.

Rather than abandoning my path, I was invited into a deeper level of discernment.

I began seeing through the eyes of the Eagle. 🦅

Rising above personalities, emotions and attachments to see the larger landscape. Recognizing that every situation has multiple perspectives and even extraordinary teachers are human beings navigating their own shadows.

I could honor the wisdom without idolizing the messenger.

Receive the medicine without surrendering my sovereignty.

Appreciate the teacher without placing them on a pedestal.

No human being holds the entirety of truth.

We each see through the lens of our experiences, beliefs and awareness.

And this brought me to a powerful realization.

The time of the guru is over.

Not the time of teachers. We will always need mentors, elders and wisdom keepers.

But the time of blindly following and handing our personal power to another human being must end.

The next evolution of consciousness requires discernment, integrity, personal responsibility and self-mastery.

We must become our own greatest teachers while remaining humble enough to learn from everyone.

I haven’t changed my path.

I’ve simply expanded my perspective.

And from the Eagle’s view, even moments of disillusionment become extraordinary gifts.

Honor the teachers. Cherish the teachings. Integrate the wisdom.

But never surrender the compass to your soul.

That belongs to YOU. 🦅💙🌀

🌀 10/10/10 — THE CONSCIOUS CREATOR 🌑✨

Today, October 10, 2026, we experience a unique numerical alignment of 10/10/10.

October is the 10th month, today is the 10th day, and 2026 reduces to 10 (2+0+2+6).

In numerology, 1 represents creation, sovereignty and new beginnings, while 0 represents infinite potential, the void from which all things emerge.

Together, they remind us of our ability to consciously participate in the creation of our reality.

And as we move through this New Moon cycle, we are invited to examine the seeds we are planting for our future. 🌱

For thousands of years, humanity has operated within structures that encourage us to look outside ourselves for direction, authority and answers.

But consciousness is evolving.

We are beginning to remember that we are not simply passengers on this journey. We are the navigators of our own ships. ⛵️

This requires self-mastery.

An understanding of our thoughts, emotions, beliefs and patterns, and how they influence the reality we experience.

The work begins within.

As we bring greater coherence to our internal world, we begin to reflect that coherence into our relationships, communities and ultimately the collective.

We cannot create a harmonious world while remaining at war within ourselves.

This is why embodiment is so important.

We can study ancient wisdom, explore consciousness and receive extraordinary teachings, but until we integrate that knowledge into our daily lives, it remains simply information.

The New Moon offers a beautiful symbolic moment to become intentional about what we wish to cultivate.

And 10/10/10 reminds us that creation begins with the individual.

We are the architects of our future.

Not through control, but through awareness, responsibility and conscious choice.

Today, I invite you to examine the reality you are creating.

Are your thoughts, actions and intentions aligned with the world you wish to experience?

Because the future isn’t something we simply wait for.

It’s something we participate in creating.

The evolution of humanity begins with the evolution of the self.

And that work belongs to every one of us. 🤝💙🌀🌎

Happy 10/10/10! ✨

🌀 WHAT IF THERE’S NOTHING LEFT TO FIND?

For years, I searched.

I studied.
I traveled.
I sat in ceremony.
I worked with teachers and medicines.
I healed.
I questioned.
I explored ancient wisdom and followed more breadcrumbs than I could ever count.

And I am eternally grateful for every single one.

But somewhere along the way, something shifted.

I stopped searching.

Not because I know everything. Good Lord, no. 😂
My curiosity is as alive as ever.

But I stopped believing there was some elusive answer outside of me that I needed to find before I could fully live.

The teachings had already done their work.

Now it was time to embody them.

To stop studying presence and be present.

To stop talking about joy and laugh until my belly hurts.

To stop searching for sacred places and recognize that wherever I am can become sacred.

To stop trying so hard to become…

and simply BE.

Maybe that’s one of the most beautiful stages of the spiritual journey.

Eventually, all those teachings, ceremonies, initiations, books, teachers and experiences have to come off the altar and enter our lives.

Because awakening isn’t supposed to make us more serious.

It should make us more ALIVE.

More curious.
More playful.
More loving.
More willing to say YES.
More capable of squeezing every delicious drop out of this crazy human experience.

These days, I’m far less interested in finding enlightenment…

and much more interested in living what I’ve learned.

And you know what?

It makes life so freaking FUN. 🤸‍♀️😂🌀✨

Maybe we don’t need to keep searching for the magic.

Maybe we finally realize we’re already standing in it. 🔆

🏔️ RIDING ON THE WINGS OF THE CRYSTAL CONDOR 🦅 ✈️ ❤️🧡💛💚

Today, riding on the wings of the crystal condor, I could hardly breathe as we approached Katahdin—my Apu in the East.

He was hidden beneath a cloak of clouds as we drew near.

And in the stillness, I heard:

“Be patient. You’ll see me soon. But remember, you can close your eyes and I’m always here.”

And then…he appeared.

My heart nearly stopped.

For a few moments, time seemed to stand still as I took in the magnificence of this sacred mountain. I could feel the wisdom. The guidance. The strength. The reverence.

My eyes filled with tears.

Not because I was seeing a mountain…

but because I was greeting an old friend. 🏔️

From there, we continued across what felt like Pachamama’s Coat of Many Colors—Mother Gaia dressed in her full autumn glory. 🍁❤️🧡💛

Rainbow Lake beneath us.
The Penobscot River winding through the land.
Mountains rising and falling across the horizon.
An endless tapestry of forest painted in fire.

And eventually, we made our way toward Apu Kineo—my Guardian of the North.

Smaller in stature than Katahdin, perhaps, but every bit as wise. Every bit as steady.

Home.

We circled above Whitten Camps, and I felt Kineo’s familiar embrace welcoming us back before we turned toward Greenville.

What an extraordinary feast for the eyes…

but even more so, for the heart.

There are moments when the beauty of this Earth becomes almost too much to hold.

Today was one of them.

Yesterday I sat at camp listening to Pachamama cleanse herself in the rain and gave thanks for the harvest.

Today, she lifted me above the clouds and seemed to whisper:

“Now look at what has grown.”

Pachamama Ñusta in all her glory. 🌎🍁🏔️

Thank you, Mother.
Thank you, Apus.
Thank you for another reminder that we are never walking this Earth alone.

🌀❤️‍🔥

🍂 WHAT DID YOU GROW? 🍂

Today I’m sitting at camp listening to the rain fall steadily outside.

It feels as though Pachamama is cleansing herself. 🌧️

And somehow, after the rain, the colors seem even more alive. Reds, oranges and golds exploding across the landscape in one final glorious celebration before the trees surrender their leaves.

Tomorrow I’ll take to the sky and travel north toward one of the great Apus of the East that I hold dear—Mt. Katahdin.

And it has me thinking about harvest.

In the spring, we plant seeds.

Some intentionally.
Some without even realizing it.

Through the summer, we tend them. We water, nurture, w**d, adjust. Some flourish. Some don’t. Some become something entirely different than what we imagined.

And then comes harvest.

The moment we get to see what actually grew.

Not just in our gardens—but in our lives.

What intentions did you plant last spring?

What relationship did you nurture?

What boundary did you finally honor?

What dream received your attention?

What part of yourself did you begin loving differently?

What tiny decision made months ago has quietly become something beautiful?

We can become so focused on what we are trying to manifest next that we forget to turn around and acknowledge what has already arrived.

And perhaps harvest isn’t only about receiving.

In the Andean traditions I’ve been privileged to learn from, there is a beautiful understanding of reciprocity—ayni.

We receive from Pachamama…and we give back.

Gratitude.
Reverence.
Care.
Attention.

So today, while the rain washes across Moosehead Lake and the forest puts on her magnificent autumn dress, I’m not asking for anything.

I’m simply saying thank you.

For the seeds that grew.

For the ones that didn’t.

For what they taught me.

And for another season of this extraordinary relationship with the living Earth. 🌎🍂

Tomorrow, I go to the mountain.

Today, I honor the harvest. 🌀

🌀 BUILD YOUR OWN TOOLBOX

One of the things I love most about the spiritual path is that there is no single doorway.

Some people find themselves through meditation.

Others through sound.
Nature.
Astrology.
Prayer.
Ceremony.
Breathwork.
Energy.
Ancient teachings.
Dreams.
Plant medicine.
Or simply becoming quiet enough to finally hear themselves.

I’ve explored a LOT of doorways. 😂

Some changed my life.

Some taught me something and then fell away.

Some became medicines I still work with every single day.

And somewhere along the journey, I stopped asking:

“Which path is the right one?”

and started asking:

“What resonates with me?”

That changed everything.

Because I don’t believe spirituality needs to become another box we squeeze ourselves into.

I think we’re allowed to explore.

To be curious.

To experience something for ourselves before deciding whether it belongs in our lives.

To take what resonates and respectfully leave what doesn’t.

Over time, we begin building our own spiritual toolbox—practices, teachings and allies we can reach for depending on what life is asking of us.

Some days I need my Mesa.

Some days I need sound.

Some days I need ceremony.

Some days I need the forest, bare feet on the Earth and absolutely no spiritual conversation whatsoever. 😂

The tool isn’t the destination.

The tool simply helps us find our way back to ourselves.

Maybe your path isn’t asking you to choose one doorway.

Maybe it’s asking you to become curious enough to open a few. 🚪🌀✨

🍂 THE SACRED SPACE BETWEEN 🍂

Tomorrow, for one brief moment, light and darkness come into balance as we cross the threshold of the Equinox.

But tonight…

we stand at the doorway.

I’ve been thinking about how uncomfortable we humans can be with thresholds.

We like to know where we’re going.

We want the relationship defined.
The decision made.
The healing complete.
The new chapter already written.

But nature doesn’t rush from one season into another.

She transitions.

The leaves slowly change.
The light begins to soften.
The air shifts.
The garden offers its final gifts.

And then, when the time is right, she releases.

Perhaps there is medicine in that for us.

You may be standing in a threshold of your own right now.

No longer who you were…

but not entirely sure who you’re becoming.

Don’t rush it.

The space between an ending and a beginning isn’t empty.

It’s fertile.

It’s where we integrate what we’ve learned.
Where we decide what comes forward with us.
Where we lay down what has become too heavy to carry.

Tomorrow, light and darkness meet as equals.

Neither needs to defeat the other.

And perhaps that’s another beautiful teaching:

Wholeness isn’t becoming all light.
It’s learning to hold all of ourselves in balance.

So tonight, on this Equinox Eve, I’m sitting at the threshold with one question:

What am I ready to carry into this next season… and what am I finally willing to leave at the door? 🍂

Maybe you are standing at a doorway too. 🌀✨

“Maybe the most spiritual thing you can do is live your life.”

There are seasons when I am deeply immersed in ceremony, study, healing, energy work and the mysteries of this human experience.

And then there are weekends like this one.

Family piled into camp.
Fishing.
Children playing.
Mimi time.
Meals together.
Noise.
Laughter.
Beautiful chaos.

And for a few days, I didn’t have a Soul Whisper to share.

I was busy living one.

I think sometimes on the spiritual path we can become so focused on awakening, healing, ascending, learning and becoming that we forget the whole reason we’re doing any of it.

To be HERE.

Fully inside this human experience.

Maybe enlightenment isn’t always found sitting in meditation or participating in sacred ceremony.

Maybe sometimes it’s holding your granddaughter.

Laughing until your belly hurts.

Watching someone you love reel in a fish.

Sitting around a table long after the meal is finished.

Going to bed exhausted because the house was full and the day was wonderfully chaotic.

My spiritual practices have taught me many things.

But perhaps one of the greatest teachings has been learning to recognize the sacred while it’s happening.

Not someday.
Not after I’ve healed one more thing.
Not when I’ve reached some higher level of consciousness.

Now.

Because this ordinary, messy, fleeting, magnificent human life?

This is the ceremony. 🌀💛

And maybe today’s Soul Whisper is simply this:

Don’t become so busy seeking the sacred that you miss the sacred sitting right beside you.
