Before heading into the forest to build altars on the land today, I was drawn to share this song and its beautiful reminder.
How often we do the opposite. We busy ourselves with worry, conflict, comparison, and things we cannot control. Yet the things that truly nourish the soul are often simple, creating beauty, sharing kindness, loving deeply, tending relationships, and being present with one another.
As I walked the land gathering pieces for today's altar, I was reminded that nature is always creating beauty without effort. The flowers bloom. The birds sing. The trees offer shade. Nothing is striving to become something else.
Perhaps the invitation is the same for us.
Create beauty where you are. Offer love where you can. Build genuine friendships. Tend what matters.
The rest has a way of unfolding in its own time. ♡

Many of my friends are walking through the loss of loved ones right now, and it has pulled me back into the remembrance of my own grief.
I remember the evening I found my husband gone. I remember the sound that came from me, a sound I didn't know I could make. I remember trying to bring him back, performing CPR, praying for one more breath. I remember how the minutes felt like hours and the hours felt like minutes. Nothing seemed real. It was as if time itself had stopped making sense.
As the years passed, my grief changed. It never disappeared. I still miss him. I still find moments that bring me right back to the love we shared and the loss I felt. But I have come to understand something differently.
Everything here is borrowed.
The people we love, the moments we cherish, the experiences we hold so tightly.they are all gifts entrusted to us for a little while. And that little while is far shorter than we imagine.
Loss has taught me the preciousness of the present moment. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. The conversation we are putting off, the hug we didn't give, the words we assumed there would be time to say those are the things grief teaches us to treasure.
When someone we love returns to Source, it is often we who remain that carry the pain. Their journey continues, while we are left longing for one more moment, one more conversation, one more embrace.
I'm reminded of a quote that comforted me after my husband died,
"It is not the candle, when blown out, that feels the pain. It is those left sitting in the darkness, wondering where the light went."
If you are grieving today, know that your love has somewhere to land. Love does not end when a life ends. Love remains. Always.

If your peace depends on everything going right, that's not peace it's control.
Real peace is choosing it before reality gives you a reason to.
Life can be messy. Plans change. People disappoint us. Doors close. Storms come without warning. Yet even in the middle of uncertainty, peace remains available.
Peace isn't the absence of challenges. It's the decision not to let those challenges own your spirit.
The truth is, life can be falling apart in one area while quietly coming together in another. What looks like a setback may be creating space for something better. What feels like a detour may actually be the path.
Choose peace now not because everything is perfect, but because you trust that even the messy parts of life are teaching, shaping, and guiding you.
Life can be messy and still be working out for you. ♡

My last journey with the medicine brought me to a simple but profound realization.
The world is changing.
It always has been, and it always will be.
There are forces in this world that pull for our attention every day. One headline after another. One crisis after another. One more reason to be angry, afraid, divided, or distracted.
Fear is powerful because it keeps us looking everywhere except within.
But what if the greatest act of resistance is not getting pulled into every argument, every distraction, every narrative?
What if the real work is learning how to hold ourselves accountable for the energy we bring into the world?
The medicine reminded me that our moments are precious. Every conversation. Every sunrise. Every person we love. Every opportunity to choose compassion over judgment.
The future has not happened yet.
The past is already gone.
All we truly have is this moment.
I am learning to question more, react less, listen deeper, and trust my own connection to Spirit. Not because I have all the answers, but because I know that fear rarely leads us to truth.
When the world becomes loud, I return to the things that have always guided humanity.
Prayer.
Presence.
Nature.
Community.
Stillness.
Service.
Love.
There may be many paths ahead of us, but I believe the people who will help shape what comes next are not those shouting the loudest. They are the ones quietly doing their inner work. The ones healing old wounds. The ones choosing integrity when no one is watching. The ones remembering that every living thing is connected.
Many traditions speak of a time when humanity would be asked to remember who we are.
Not through fear.
Not through division.
But through the awakening of the heart.
If there is a spiritual battle taking place, I believe it is the battle between fear and love, separation and unity, unconsciousness and awareness.
And each day we get to choose which one we feed.
So stay grounded.
Stay connected to Spirit.
Take care of your mind, your body, and your heart.
Love the people in front of you.
Protect your peace.
Speak your truth with kindness.
And remember that no matter how much noise surrounds us, there is a wisdom within that can still hear the voice of the Great Spirit.
The world may be shifting, but that does not mean we must live in fear.
It means we must learn to live with greater intention.
The future will be built by those who choose love, accountability, courage, and compassion.
The sacred fire is not something outside of us.
It burns within us.
May we tend it well.

The world does not need another me.
One of my greatest triggers has always been being copied. Not inspired by, but copied. The hair, the words, the food, the way I pray, the way I move through life, my business, my habits, even something as simple as reaching for a glass of water.
Many people say imitation is the highest form of flattery. Sometimes it is. Sometimes people are simply searching for themselves and borrow pieces of others while they do. There is nothing wrong with learning from those who inspire us.
But there is another kind of imitation that feels different.
When someone tries to connect by becoming you rather than discovering who they are, the energy can feel draining. I've had people tell me they want my peace, my life, my way of being. Yet peace cannot be copied. It can only be cultivated from within.
The world does not need another version of me. It does not need another version of you, either.
What makes each of us valuable is our uniqueness. Our own voice. Our own path. Our own medicine.
Be inspired. Learn from others. Gather wisdom wherever you find it. But do not lose yourself trying to become someone else.
Your gifts were never meant to be a duplicate of another person's. They were meant to be expressed through you, and through you alone.

It is with both joy and a little sadness that I announce the postponement of our June ceremony in Georgia.
Our beloved Taita has been granted his immigration hearing on that Friday! This is truly wonderful news and something we have all been praying for and supporting. He has worked so hard to achieve this. We are celebrating this important step in his journey.
Because of this, however, we will need to shift our ceremony dates.
Many of you had already reached out expressing interest in attending, but financial considerations or prior commitments made June difficult. We trust that Great Spirit sees a bigger picture than we do and is guiding this unfolding exactly as it should.
Our Georgia ceremony has been moved to September 26th–27th.
If you have already submitted payment, your funds can be applied to the September dates. If you would prefer not to wait, there will also be opportunities to attend ceremony in Miami on July 24th–25th or Tampa in August, and I am happy to help coordinate ridesharing for those interested.
While changes in plans can be disappointing, I truly believe this shift is in alignment with the highest good for everyone involved.
Thank you for your understanding, flexibility, and continued trust. I look forward to gathering in sacred space with each of you and sharing this journey together in September.
Sometimes what feels like a delay is simply life arranging things in a way we cannot yet see. Wishing Taita blessings for his hearing and everyone a beautiful summer between now and September.
The destination hasnt changed. The path has simply taken a different turn.
With love and gratitude, Tereasa
