Helping women who have tried everything for bloating, IBS, reflux, or unexplained gut issues finally get real answers using GI-MAP testing and a personalized gut protocol

06/08/2026

I want to talk to the person who has done everything right.

And is still suffering.

You cut out gluten. You tried probiotics, multiple kinds. You eliminated dairy. You took the digestive enzymes. You followed the gut healing protocols you found online and gave them a real shot.

You've had blood work come back normal. Maybe you've even had a colonoscopy. An endoscopy. A CT scan. And every single time, you were told nothing was wrong.

But something is wrong. You feel it every day.

You're still bloated. Still exhausted after meals. Still running to the bathroom at the worst times or not going at all.

At some point the question stops being "what else should I try?" and becomes "why hasn't anything worked?"

That's the question I help people answer. Not by adding more things to try but by finally understanding what's actually happening beneath the symptoms.

Most standard testing isn't designed to look at gut function, microbiome balance, inflammation markers, or how well you're actually digesting and absorbing food. Which means people can have very real, very fixable problems that just never get found.

That's not a dead end. That's a missing piece.

If this sounds like you, let's talk.

I offer a free 15-minute call where we can go over what you've been experiencing and whether a deeper functional test makes sense for your situation. No pressure. Just clarity.

What if your gut symptoms aren't actually coming from your gut?

Read that again.

Because one of the biggest mistakes I see is people assuming:

Bloating = stomach problem.

Constipation = colon problem.

Reflux = acid problem.

But digestion doesn't happen in isolation.

Stress.

Sleep.

Blood sugar.

Hormones.

Thyroid function.

Movement.

Nervous system health.

All of these can influence what happens in your digestive tract.

I've seen people spend years chasing food sensitivities when the real issue was constipation.

I've seen people blame gluten when stress was completely disrupting their digestion.

I've seen people take probiotic after probiotic while ignoring the fact they weren't sleeping or moving their bodies.

The gut is important.

But it's also connected to everything else.

That's why finding the root cause is rarely as simple as eliminating one food or taking one supplement.

Does your stomach ever feel so full of gas that you look 6 months pregnant by the end of the day?

You're not alone.

One of the most common complaints I hear is:

"I feel like there's a balloon stuck inside my stomach."

The interesting part?

Gas itself isn't usually the problem.

The question is:

Why is it happening in the first place?

Common contributors can include:

- Eating too quickly

- Constipation

- Poor digestion

- Food intolerances

- Imbalances within the gut microbiome

- Changes in gut motility

- Bacterial overgrowth

This is why one person may feel better by avoiding a certain food...while another continues struggling no matter what they remove from their diet.

The gas is the symptom. The goal is understanding what's contributing to it.

Because constantly feeling bloated, uncomfortable, or like you need to loosen your pants after every meal isn't something you should simply accept as normal.

Be honest:

When is your bloating or trapped gas at its worst?

Morning?
Afternoon?
After dinner?
Every meal?

Same symptoms.
Completely different causes.

Two people can both have bloating, fatigue, brain fog, and food sensitivities and have almost nothing in common underneath.

One may have poor digestion and not absorbing nutrients properly. One may have active gut inflammation. One may have a depleted immune system. One may have a microbiome that’s completely out of balance.

This is why doing what worked for someone else often doesn’t work for you. And why you can do everything “right” and still feel off.

Symptoms tell you what you feel.

Testing can start to show you why.

You've been told your labs are normal.

But you still don't feel like yourself.

So what's actually going on?

Standard bloodwork can provide valuable information, but it doesn't always tell the whole story. If you're struggling with bloating, fatigue, brain fog, food reactions, or unpredictable digestion, a stool test can reveal information that routine lab work often doesn't capture.

Not just what's happening in your gut but patterns that may be contributing to how you feel every day.

Here's a small sample of what the markers can reveal:

- How well you're actually digesting food—not just eating it, but breaking it down and absorbing nutrients

- Whether your gut immune system may need additional support

- If inflammation is present within the digestive tract

- The state of your beneficial bacteria, which can influence digestion, metabolism, immune function, and bowel regularity

- Whether opportunistic bacteria are overgrowing and potentially contributing to symptoms

And here's the important part:

Two people can have the exact same symptoms and completely different findings.

That's one of the biggest reasons why guessing at solutions often leads to frustration.

Your symptoms tell you what you're feeling.

Testing can provide additional clues about what may be contributing to them.

And when you have more clarity, you can make more informed decisions about your next steps.

Two people can walk into my office with the exact same symptoms...

âś” bloating
âś” constipation
âś” fatigue
âś” food sensitivities
âś” brain fog

But their GI-MAP results can look completely different.

One person may have:
• low digestive enzymes
• poor protein and fat digestion
• low beneficial bacteria

While another may have:
• elevated inflammation markers
• bacterial overgrowth
• immune dysfunction within the gut

And both people may be experiencing the same symptoms every day.

This is why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all gut health recommendations.

The supplement that helps one person may do absolutely nothing for another.

The diet that works for your friend may not address what's actually driving YOUR symptoms.

Symptoms give us clues.

Testing can help us understand the "why."

Because the goal isn't just to manage symptoms...

It's to understand what may be contributing to them in the first place 🌿

This is one of the reasons functional stool testing can be such a valuable tool when you're tired of guessing and ready for a more personalized approach.

Most people are trying to heal their gut completely blind.

Taking supplements.
Removing foods.
Trying probiotics.
Doing cleanses.

…without actually understanding what may be happening inside the gut first.

The problem is:
many gut symptoms can overlap.

Bloating.
Constipation.
Urgency.
Food sensitivities.
Fatigue.
Brain fog.
Inflammation.

And symptoms alone don’t always tell the full story.

This is one of the reasons I’m such a big believer in functional stool testing when appropriate

A GI-MAP can help provide deeper insight into:
âś” digestion
âś” inflammation
âś” microbiome balance
âś” immune markers
âś” bacterial overgrowth
âś” pathogens that may be contributing to symptoms

Because when you understand what your body is actually struggling with, you can create a more personalized and targeted approach instead of constantly guessing.

Your body is usually communicating long before bigger problems develop. Get you gut tested today!

One of the biggest reasons people stay stuck with chronic gut symptoms is because they keep trying to “heal” without actually understanding what’s happening inside the gut first.

And honestly?

This is why so many people end up frustrated after spending hundreds (sometimes thousands) on:

random probiotics
supplements
detoxes
elimination diets
cleanses
gut powders
wellness trends online

…while still dealing with:
âś” bloating
âś” constipation
âś” urgency
âś” reflux
âś” fatigue
âś” food sensitivities
âś” brain fog
âś” inflammation

The gut is incredibly complex.

You can’t always guess what’s going on beneath the surface based on symptoms alone.

This is one of the reasons I’m such a big believer in functional stool testing when appropriate

Because understanding:

digestion
inflammation
microbiome balance
pathogens/overgrowth
immune markers

can help create a much more personalized and targeted approach instead of constantly guessing.

Your body is usually communicating long before bigger problems develop.

“Leaky gut” has become one of those terms people throw around online constantly… but honestly, most people don’t truly understand how much gut inflammation and intestinal permeability can impact the body.

Your gut lining is supposed to act like a protective barrier.

When that barrier becomes irritated, inflamed, or damaged over time, it may contribute to symptoms like:

bloating
food sensitivities
fatigue
brain fog
skin issues
inflammation
joint discomfort
unpredictable digestion

And one of the hardest parts?

Many people feel dismissed because their routine labs often come back “normal” while they still feel terrible day to day.

This is exactly why I believe healing the gut requires more than just randomly taking probiotics or trying trendy supplements online.

You need to understand:
âś” what may be irritating the gut
âś” how digestion is functioning
âś” possible inflammation markers
âś” microbiome balance
âś” stress + lifestyle factors
âś” what your body may actually be struggling with beneath the surface

Healing the gut is rarely about one magic supplement.

It’s usually a combination of:

removing stressors/triggers
supporting digestion
reducing inflammation
rebuilding the gut lining
restoring balance over time
Healing the gut is rarely about one magic supplement.

This is one of the reasons functional stool testing can be so helpful when trying to better understand digestion, inflammation, microbiome balance, and overall gut health.

Most people spend years trying to “fix” their gut by guessing.

Trying random supplements.
Cutting out foods.
Buying probiotics.
Following trends online.

…without ever truly understanding what may be driving their symptoms beneath the surface.

Bloating.
Constipation.
Urgency.
Food sensitivities.
Fatigue.
Brain fog.
Inflammation.

These symptoms are often clues — not random inconveniences.

This is why I’m such a big believer in combining education with functional testing when appropriate 🌿

The GI-MAP is one of the tools I use to help better understand:
âś” digestion
âś” inflammation
âś” microbiome balance
âś” pathogens + overgrowth
âś” immune markers within the gut

Because the more you understand your body, the more empowered you become to make informed decisions about your health.

Summer is starting, and honestly there’s no better time to start paying attention to how you truly feel from the inside out.
