A little personal update 🤍

I am currently in Ohio with my Mamaw after she suffered a stroke. Right now, my focus is being present with her and supporting her while my family navigate the days ahead.

She is doing great in her recovery and we hope to keep things going smoothly.

If you have called, texted, emailed, or messaged the spa and haven’t heard back from me yet, please know I’m not ignoring you. I’m doing my best to keep up and will be returning messages as soon as I’m able. 🤍

In the meantime, I’m incredibly thankful to have Brandi, Jazmyn and Kelsey holding things down at Vitalistic. They are available to help with scheduling, questions, appointments, or anything else that may come up while I’m away! Please feel free to reach out to me, I may be just a smidge slow in response.

The spa is still here, appointments are still happening, and you are still very much taken care of and appreciated. 🫶

I just may be a little quieter and slower to respond personally for a few days.

POV: Annual maintence on the float pod turns into absolute chaos. 😱

While doing annual maintence on the float pod, a gasket broke, flooding the bottom compartment with 3 inches thick salt water, not just salty water- but dead sea, salt water. The absolute saltiest. 😭 It has solidified but also melts, behaves like some weird entity. Its an experience for sure.

😅 I have well over 12 hours in on cleaning it all out, while preserving wires and tubing. Sooo please bare with me. Give me grace if you see me out- I will literally be salty af. 🤭

Dont worry, she will be repaired soon. BUT its looking like a couple weeks 🫠

I apologize to my float clients, we will have her up and running, ready to hold you soon! 🥹

FFA FUN DAYS, you were a good one. 💚✨

There’s just something about a small-town summer weekend! The parade, familiar faces, kids running around, a little bit of chaos, and a whole lot of community. 🥹🫶

We had so much fun handing out Vitalistic koozies, pens + magnets in the parade and bringing a little extra ✨sparkle✨ downtown with hair tinsel & glitter in front of the spa!

Five years. ✨️

Today, as I cleaned out our old front desk I looked through our saved gift cards we've had over the years, and it stopped me in my tracks.

Each one represents a person. A story. Someone who chose to support my small business, gifted healing to someone they love, celebrated a birthday, comforted a friend, encouraged a spouse, or simply believed that rest and wellness matter.

It's easy to measure growth in numbers, but these little pieces of paper reminded me that the true measure of Vitalistic has always been the people.

Thank you for trusting us with your health, your healing, your celebrations, your hardest seasons, and your quiet moments of self-care. Thank you for every referral, every kind word, every shared post, every hug, every conversation, and every gift card purchased.

You've helped build something so much bigger than a spa. You've helped create a community that believes our bodies are worthy of care and that healing deserves space.
