NEW EMT CLASS IS UNDERWAY

We are now two weeks into our Summer 2026 EMT program and our students have hit the ground running! This past weekend, students got some practical experience in lifting and movements through our lifts, loads, and carries class.

This practical class provides our students with valuable physical skills required to perform their duties as EMTs. Students were taught the basics of stretcher operations, stair chair operations, proper lifting techniques, and working together with a partner to extricate a patient from a residence.

The Beauport Ambulance Service Training Center is excited to announce our upcoming EMT course starting May 22, 2026 at our training facility in Gloucester, MA!

📍 Location: 19R Pond Rd, Gloucester, MA
📅 Course Dates: May 22 – August 19, 2026
⏰ Schedule:
• Wednesdays: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(No class on July 4)

Our extended Saturday sessions allow for a shorter overall program length while providing more hands-on, practical training time throughout the course.

💲 Cost: $1,600 + testing & textbook fees
📘 Textbook: Emergency Care, 15th Edition by Limmer

Whether you're starting your journey in EMS or looking to take the next step in healthcare, this course is designed to set you up for success.

Today marks the first day of classes for EMT Class 2026-1! 🎉

These students are beginning a 12-week comprehensive training program designed to build the knowledge and skills needed to successfully pass the NREMT exam and begin their careers in emergency medical services.
