When was the last time you actually touched grass? No screens, no scrolling—just pure, unfiltered presence.

There’s a wild, beautiful energy at a youth tournament. The ocean breeze, the turf underfoot, and kids who are 100% **in the moment**. They aren't worrying about tomorrow; they’re just playing, moving, and connecting.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, wellness isn't just about what we eat or do—it's about staying connected to the natural world. This weekend, let’s hit the reset button. Get outdoors, soak up the community energy, and ground your spirit in the good stuff.

🚨 Quick Reality Check:

Did one bad week ruin your health goals?

❌ Nope.

Did one bad month?

❌ Still nope.

Did taking a long break mean you've failed?

❌ Absolutely not.

The biggest mistake people make is believing they have to be perfect to make progress. The truth is that lasting health is a process—not a destination.

You don't need a complete life overhaul.

You need small changes repeated consistently over time.

💧 Drink one more glass of water.
🚶 Take a 10-minute walk.
🥗 Add one serving of vegetables.
😴 Go to bed 30 minutes earlier.

Small actions may seem insignificant, but they compound. Over weeks, months, and years, they create powerful changes in your health and well-being.

Remember: Your health is defined by the overall trend—not by one bad day, one stressful week, or one season of life that knocked you off course.

🌱 You don't have to start over.
🌱 You just have to start again.

**What's ONE healthy habit you'd like to restart or begin this week?**

🌦️✨ Self-care doesn’t have to wait for the storm to pass.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your mental health is pause long enough to enjoy the small moments of sunshine in between. ☀️

Step outside.
Feel the warmth.
Take a deep breath.
Let your nervous system soften for a moment.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, even brief moments of calm, movement, sunlight, and fresh air help support the smooth flow of Qi and emotional balance. Small acts of self-care matter more than we think.

You don’t need a perfect day to find peace.
Sometimes healing happens in the pauses between the rain. 🌱💛

👇 What’s one small thing you’re doing for yourself today?

Rainy days aren’t ruining your mood… your perspective might be.🌧️✨

Rain is not a bad thing.
It’s nature restoring balance.

It refills the wells.
It nourishes the earth.
It gives roots what they need to grow beneath the surface. 🌱

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, rainy weather carries *damp energy*—which can make us feel heavy, unmotivated, foggy, or emotionally stuck. But nature also teaches us something important:

Not every season is meant for constant productivity.
Some seasons are for restoration.

The rain reminds us to slow down, soften, hydrate, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves instead of fighting the pause.

Growth is not always loud.
Sometimes healing looks like resting.
Sometimes progress looks like stillness.

The same rain clouding the sky today may be feeding something beautiful you cannot see yet. 🌿

What if this season of your life is watering your roots instead of holding you back?

🇺🇸 Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

At MyT Holistic, Memorial Day is also a reminder of the importance of caring for the mind, body, and spirit of those who carry the weight of service, sacrifice, grief, and resilience every day.

Healing looks different for everyone. Sometimes it is rest. Sometimes it is support. Sometimes it is simply allowing yourself space to breathe.

As we spend time with loved ones today, may we also hold gratitude for the freedoms made possible through sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙

Wishing you a peaceful and meaningful Memorial Day.

If you are feeling "wired but tired," your spirit might just be looking for an anchor.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the **Heart governs the Shen**—your mind, focus, and conscious awareness. While the natural expression of the Heart is **Joy**, chaotic or overwhelming stress physically *scatters* this energy, leading to:

❌ Insomnia & vivid, restless dreams
❌ Floating anxiety or sudden heart palpitations
❌ Mental brain fog and a racing mind

True health isn't about forced positivity; it's about **restoring balance** so your spirit has a peaceful place to rest. Through common-sense care like Acupuncture and Tui Na massage, we physically quiet the nervous system and bring a scattered Shen back home.

✨ **Let's build a little community joy today.** ✨

Sometimes the nervous system doesn’t need more scrolling, more caffeine, or more pushing through. Sometimes it just needs sunlight, fresh air, and a moment to reconnect.

Spending just 5–10 minutes outdoors each day can help:
✨ Reduce stress and anxiety
✨ Support mood and emotional balance
✨ Calm the nervous system
✨ Improve focus and mental clarity
✨ Boost serotonin and regulate sleep cycles
✨ Help you feel more grounded and present

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, nature helps restore harmony between the body, mind, and spirit. Even a few quiet moments outside can help move stagnant Qi, settle the Shen, and reconnect you with yourself.

You do not have to do anything complicated.
Step outside.
Feel the sun.
Breathe deeply.
Listen to the wind.
Let your body remember that it was designed to live in rhythm with nature. 🌱

Feeling anxious right now? Try this 👇

Tap this point 👉 **between your eyebrows (Yin Tang)**

In TCM, it’s used to calm the mind, ease anxiety, and regulate your nervous system—fast.

✨ Tap for 30–60 seconds
✨ Slow your breath
✨ Let your body soften

Simple. Subtle. Effective.

Sometimes relief isn’t complicated—it’s intentional.

Depression can feel isolating—like no one truly understands what you’re carrying. But you are not alone, even when your mind tells you otherwise. 💛

Music has a way of reaching the places words can’t. A song can shift your mood, help move stuck emotions, or simply sit with you when nothing else seems to help.

From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, emotional health is tied to the flow of Qi, Blood, and the balance of the Heart, Liver, and Shen (spirit). When things feel heavy, stagnant, or disconnected, supportive tools like music, acupuncture, movement, and connection can help create gentle shifts back toward balance.

It’s also important to remember that feeling this way at times can be part of being human. Allow yourself to feel what’s coming up—cry if you need to, hug yourself, rest, or do whatever feels supportive in the moment. Suppressing emotions often keeps things stuck; giving them space can be part of the healing.

If today feels hard, start small:
🎵 Put on a song that feels grounding or familiar
💛 Give yourself a moment to just be
🌱 Take it one breath at a time

Others have felt this. Others are feeling it right now. You don’t have to carry it alone.

✨ What’s your go-to song when you need a lift or a moment of peace? Drop it in the comments—we’re building a community playlist.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🌿

At MyT Holistic, mental health is more than a diagnosis—it’s a reflection of balance within the whole system: body, mind, and spirit.

Throughout this month, I’ll be sharing a series of short videos exploring mental health through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We’ll break down how patterns like Liver Qi stagnation, Heart Shen disturbance, and Spleen deficiency can show up as stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and fatigue—and more importantly, what you can do to support your system naturally.

We’ll also explore the five aspects of the mind in TCM—Shen, Hun, Po, Yi, and Zhi—and how their balance influences emotional resilience, clarity, sleep, memory, willpower, and our ability to process and release experiences.

If you’ve been feeling “off” but can’t quite explain why, this series is for you.

Follow along, learn something new, and take a step toward feeling more like yourself again.
