There’s still time to join us for Heroes and Horses on Friday, September 11 — and you won’t want to miss this special evening at the barn.
Come learn about the remarkable connection between veterans and horses, and discover how that connection can create a path toward healing, resilience, confidence, and even joy.
We’ll begin the evening with a screening of the award-winning documentary Rescued Hearts, followed by an important and inspiring conversation with veterans and leaders from Veteran Service Organizations about the powerful role horses can play in helping veterans navigate life after military service.
And most importantly, your ticket helps make this work possible. Your support directly helps us build and sustain equine-assisted programming for veterans right here at the barn.

Shout out and huge thanks to this enthusiastic and hardworking group of students from Saint Anselm College for joining us for their Annual Brian Maguire Day of Service! We are grateful for their work in weeding the flower beds out in front of the main barn, clearing brush off of the trail and cutting vines back along the fence lines!

A reminder that the first hour of the beautiful and powerful independent film Rescued Hearts will be featured at our Heroes & Horses event on Friday, September 11th.
The film beautifully explores the profound connection between humans and horses—and how that connection can create a path toward healing in the wake of trauma.

At Heroes & Horses, we’ll hear powerful stories from veterans about the ways horses have helped them heal, reconnect, and find unexpected moments of hope and joy.
We’ll also explore why investing in equine-assisted services for veterans matters—and why the work happening right here in our own community is so important.
