As a general guide:
☀️ 80–90°F (27–32°C): Slow the pace, shorten the run, and stay hydrated.
🔥 90°F+ (32°C+): Heat stress becomes a real concern, especially with humidity.
🚨 100°F+ (38°C+): For most runners, this is a good day to move the workout indoors or change your training plan.

As a Minnesota-based company, it's especially exciting to see a hometown athlete win her hometown race. Dakotah crossed the line first in Duluth this weekend, adding yet another chapter to an already remarkable running career.

Winning a marathon is hard. Winning the same marathon three times is rare. Winning it three times while representing your home state and inspiring the next generation of runners is something truly special.

From the Olympic Games to the roads of Minnesota, Dakotah continues to show what dedication, consistency, and grit can accomplish.

Note: Dakotah won the 2026 Grandma's Marathon in 2:28:51, and this marks her third Grandma's Marathon title (2021, 2022, and 2026). She's also a 2024 Olympian and was the top American finisher in the Paris Olympic Marathon.
