Summer is approaching! Families are hiring! ☀️☀️ ☀️.
Kids with all kinds of disabilities or special needs such as cerebral palsy, autism, and other developmental or intellectual needs need you.
Care is sometimes hard to find for this community but we know you’re out there. If you’re looking for an impactful side gig or even looking for more of a full time role with the ability of working with multiple families to gain some experience working with kids and adults with disabilities, this is a perfect opportunity.
Are you thinking about or working on getting a degree in Speech Language Pathology, Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy? Our family has personally had many caretakers or respite providers who then moved on to receive degrees in each of these fields.
Working for a family who has a loved one with a disability can look different for each family. Some families may pay privately and some families may be working with a care agency who would pay you.
