If your hearing aids suddenly don't seem to be working right, don't panic.

Before assuming something is broken, try these three steps:

1️⃣ Check the device for anything loose, damaged, or missing.

2️⃣ Give it a good cleaning. A clogged wax trap, dirty microphone, or dirty charging contacts can cause more problems than most people realize.

3️⃣ Still having issues? Give us a call. Sometimes a simple adjustment or quick inspection is all it takes.

On this Day in North Carolina History: The USS North Carolina was launched! ⚓

On this date in 1940 the USS North Carolina launched. The battleship played a major role in the Pacific during WW2 supporting the Battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa and carried American personnel home following the end of the war. She was decommissioned in 1946 and is preserved at the North Carolina Museum in Wilmington.
