Diamondheart Jay Hoeffer is an ordained Shamanic Minister and Certified Shamanic Breathwork facilitator by Venus Rising Association for Transformation.

He facilitates shamanic drum journeys and Shamanic Breathwork to open doors to transformation and healing. This path is not one I had dreamed of or aspired to walk. It has pulled me in and became undeniable through the healing in myself and witnessing the transformation of others, which has truly been an honor. It has asked me to express courage I didn't know I had. It has asked me to overcome the

fear of sharing this part of who I am now. Shamanism seemed pretty weird when I first encountered it. I still have to remind myself sometimes that we were all indigenous at one point in our family tree, and that we most likely would not be a surviving species if our ancestors' traditions did not include some version of shamanism. In 2018 I started to understand that something about myself was not working any more and that I would not move forward if something did not change, but I didn't know what that something was. I focused on a particular tendency and behavior that was holding me back at my job. That led me to seek EMDR treatment, which was very powerful and transformative for me. That led me to connecting (by "coincidence") with a shamanic counselor. He helped me to open my heart, introduced me to shamanism (including transformation work, Shamanic Breathwork, drum journeying and much more) and became my teacher and mentor. In 2019, I was ordained as a Shamanic Minister of the Venus Rising Association for Transformation and also traveled to Teotiuacan in Mexico for ceremony, growth and deeper learning. In 2020, I became a Certified Breathwork Facilitator through Venus Rising. Throughout all of this I learned of the power of being in circle (intentional community) with others and of our own internal healing mechanisms (inner shaman) within each and every one of us. I have heard the call from Spirit to do this work with others. I hope to be able to share this path with you and to be in circle with you!

The short version of what Compassionate Courage is: to see yourself as your soul* sees you. 

* Replace soul with Loving Awareness, God, Goddess, Mother Earth, The Universe, Non-egoic reality, or whatever word works for you that is the highest intelligence or vibration that you can name.

And if you cannot see yourself from that perspective, then to allow the longing for it.

And if the longing cannot be accessed, then to love the resistance.

We hope that you join us for this half day workshop, and the optional potluck following, as we claim compassionate courage, living fully, and the ability to move forward in life.
